Greetings good citizen, for as far back as I can remember capitalists have been obsessed with 'free trade'.
If there has been a single net positive to come out of the 'market consolidation' of the past fifty years it has been the synchronization that has smoothed out produce production making most fruits and vegetables available year round.
In a bizarre sidebar, food production/distribution is no longer a factor in global hunger, it's all capitalism and price support now.
In fact today's renewed trade war is being driven by ego, our 'Deal Maker-in-Chief' [legend in his own mind] thinks he can single handedly win the USA better deals than they currently have when the truth is the ONLY way to 'IMPROVE' global trade is to demonetize it!
Many of you can't wrap your head around the concept that money is also just a concept! It literally doesn't exist [that being said, neither do laws...or God if we want to be inclusive/thorough.]
Hell, civilization is a concept/man made construct just like it's enabler, communication!
[Don't want to overload your mind too much, take a breath and let it wash over you...]
THEORETICALLY, Trade is the practice of exchanging surplus for shortage in a karma like 'balancing' act that would 'ideally' be divorced from 'self-interest'.
Once MONEY became the driving force behind trade it was all about exploiting what the market would bear...
Have you noticed the price of fuel has [temporarily] stabilized now that we have a loose cannon back in the White House? [Has more to do with defunding the jihad than the availability of a perishable resource, just as rising fuel prices caused/contributed to holy war in the world's oil exporting nations.
It is also being driven by China's need to reduce the amount of coal it was burning to keep the planet's sweatshops running 24/7. Why is 'gas' cheap again? Because the alternative was driving global economic collapse! [If China failed to take positive steps to provide (local) climate relief the closeted Commies might (re)gain the upper hand and throw the planet's workshop into Hong Long Harbor. Talk about throwing a huge wrench into global capitalism!]
Trouble is it's a 'short term' fix.
Coupled with the crisis of out of control population growth is the discovery that more humans will deplete the planet's fossil fuel reserves at an exponentially increasing rate.
We MUST solve the problems presented by Capitalism because borrowing from Peter to pay Paul isn't a solution.
So we return to 'economics 101' and the truth that all commerce/economies are LOCAL. [This does not eliminate the need for global supply chains BUT as much as can be produced locally, must be.] The driving force behind the global refugee crisis is the huge economic deserts created by 'centralization'.
Failure to Launch isn't a problem unique to Gen X'ers. It's the natural outcome of shrinking demand for labor while the supply overruns the system's capacity to absorb new workers.
So a few can be rich was NEVER going to result in Shang ri la...(Paradise for those of you too young to understand the reference.)
That said our 'poorly conceived' stratified society [literally a caste system]needs to be must be overhauled as well.
[Rule number 1 is EQUALITY!]
Remember my cardinal rule; If you can't fix it, don't complain about it!
In this respect many world leaders don't deserve their positions of authority.
But by now everybody knows the world isn't run 'by' humanity, it is run FOR 'the few', so THEY can be rich!
What's it all about?
Look no more because that's all there is, anything else is just quibbling.
Mo fo me has got to go!
But like the corrupt polls they aren't going to burn themselves down.
Thanks once again for lending me your mind...
