Greetings good citizen, how about that economy, eh? As usual the Corporate owned media is trumpeting victory [Mini Boom!] over the number of jobs the economy used to churn in a WEEK back in the 70's. [The 'republican revolution' succeeded in draining the global economy dry resulting in economic activity so anemic people in the know are worried about the collapse that will soon be upon us.
Ironically, STRIKING may become academic if what's left of the faltering economy peters out. Soon there will be so few customers [people with 'regular incomes'] that only a handful of retail outlets will survive the crisis and they will quickly price the marginalized completely out of the market.
Do you know what comes after that?
Bueller? Anyone? Bueller?
The media calls it genocide and Hollywood has been jokingly calling it the Zombie Apocalypse...but only half jokingly because the 'monsters' on their way to becoming 'the walking dead' are actually you, slowly starving to death.
Yes, Mr. 'I don't have time to Strike' {let some other idiot walk off the job! I'm keeping my paycheck!} We can only hope karma pays him back by making him one of the first ones gunned down trying to elbow his way into the Piggly Wiggly so he can try to get something to eat. [Stupid is its own reward...]
More 'sage advice' from your Uncle Gegner. Once the wheels fly off AVOID THE STORES LIKE THE PLAGUE! They're NOT worth it. With a sharp eye you can score 'free' canned goods the fleeing greedheads drop while running for their lives!
We're probably closer to an economic collapse of the 'people with no money variety' as a deeply disturbing percentage of the population relies completely on some type of 'food assistance' so these little pissing contests our 'elected officials' get into regularly over the (meaningless) government debt ceiling is going to be the start of World War Z.
Again, I'm pointing my pen at the blissfully ignorant American but the situation is no better anywhere else because the global population problem is exactly that, global.
What are the numbers in your country? How many work vs how many beg [or barely exist in their parent's basement?]
The problem is big and they intend to let it 'solve itself'.
Big mistake.
What comes after will get them too.
Thanks for letting me inside your head,
Gegner
[Parting mental image: Imagine rotting corpses as far as the eye can see?]
