Greetings good citizen, I belabor the obvious when I state, 'United We Stand but United we're Not.'
Not only are we divided by our 'differences' but we are also divided by our passions...furthermore, we are even more deeply divided by our 'intelligence' (or the decided lack thereof.) The old 'Birds of a feather' knife cuts BOTH ways.
Disturbing is how if we were to ask the average individual which group they thought was larger, the winner would be 'idiots!' hands down!
Smart has always been considered 'rare'. [Made rarer still because many only think they are smart...originality is what sets the truly intelligent apart from the 'mimics'.]
While we'd like to gather all of the 'smart' people together to solve some of the intractable problems facing society even the average dumbo knows those problems go unaddressed for a reason.
The 'real' reason inaction abounds is because those who are taking advantage of 'stasis' by claiming the problem is 'complicated' are in fact milking it for everything it's worth [healthcare anyone?]

How about the 'one trick ponies' calling for increases in the 'minimum wage?'
Why isn't anybody calling for a reduction in the work week along with an even larger reduction in the individual's expense profile? [Both are 'cuts' you can USE!]
The problem is not enough JOBS (at ANY wage.) Lying politicians keep saying 'the economy' created millions of jobs when in reality these are the same jobs people stop doing when they find they can't live on what the job pays!
TRUTH number 1: If your job doesn't pay you enough to live on it's not your employer's problem, IT'S YOURS!
Why do we [the 'un-united'] let the feckless get away with saying 'get a job' when EVERYBODY KNOWS there aren't any?
Yet the 'meat-puppet-in-chief' thinks we are all going to have 'good paying jobs' just because he said so...and if we don't find them he will insist we aren't looking hard enough! Same as it ever was. [Anybody else getting sick of this SSDD shit?]
Those 'born to it' will continue to pretend that 'anybody' can do it when they know full well both the rarity and the difficulty of launching an evolutionary product [especially against entrenched resistance!] (Liquor vs Pot anyone?) in the prevailing captive capitalist marketplace.
Give liquor magnates a monopoly on pot and it will be readily available tomorrow, danger be damned.
Bizarrely, it is the artificially high price of pot that makes it so lucrative. The 'real danger' is people growing their own. No 'profit' in that, is there. The profits are in its being illegal!
Um, in case you're wondering why I am providing examples of 'commercial switch-fuckery' it is to illuminate the principal reason why we are so divided.
The criminals don't want you demanding a level playing field. You worked hard building their prisons (and the shareowners want to see returns!)
It is in the 'best interests' of those 'born to rule' to keep us ignorant of what they consider to be 'their business'.
When prisons have 'shareowners' justice is off the table.
HOW STUPID ARE YOU?

If you do NOTHING so it will remain.
