Greeting good citizen, I was browsing around last night and came across This bewildering article which is accompanied by video from a Fox News Morning show that will have you marveling how/why these morons are on TV?
Now that I've whet your appetite we return to the issue of how links almost never work here [which might explain the zero comments for over 5 years.]
So it falls on me to paint the picture so those of you that can't use the link will understand why my hair is on fire.
Um, the link tells the story of how 'The American Dream' is 'shrinking'.
It seems the younger generations have eschewed the 'white picket fence' (and the accompanying single family dwelling) in exchange for 'financial security'.
Now, the chuckle-heads on Fox started 'blaming the government' for the Dream! But Fox thinks NOBODY is 'patriotic enough' and just like those 'old time conservatives' they have no patience/use for people that complain about 'theirshitty god given lot in life.'
So, 'God's little half acre' has been removed as the 'mission objective' of the generation that can't earn enough to move out of their parent's basement.
It has [thanks to feckless conservatism] become a world without the possibility of 'financial security'.
How are YOU supposed to gain a foothold when the game is "I pay you Twenty but it's going to cost you Forty to survive until your next paycheck?"
Is this the feckless bankers telling us, "yeah, you're screwed. Now what are YOU gonna do about it?" Need a loan? Too bad, It says here you don't make enough.
For anything.
What does the 'minimum wage' represent under the F-U Pay me system?
Considering money has come 'untethered' from its imaginary 'value equivalents'...where are you now?
You live in a world where being paid $350 a WEEK will get you 'credit amnesty' of up to $30,000 towards the purchase of a vehicle.
Only old farts like me remember brand new vehicles being advertised on TV for less than $3,000.
BEGINNING to see the problem? Don't be deceived [like you so often are, and surprisingly easily too!] What we're witnessing is the erosion of 'faith' in 'fiat currency'.
Not that the currency that claimed to be anchored by arbitrary 'precious metals' was any more 'stable'...our problem has ever and always been banking and the feckless legal system whose operators seem unable to resist the 'temptation' to help themselves to copious amounts of what the rest of us have to bust our stones for.
Zero irony this is 'labor day', a hard fought for holiday that will soon disappear as the rabid capitalists complain about having their pockets picked "5 times a year" by LAZY, UNGRATEFUL employees.
Is this REALLY who we should have in charge of our daily lives? Seriously?
Well it's who is behind the steady 'disintegration' of your living standards.
Your life SUCKS because THEY refuse to have a conversation about how this 'commerce thing' is supposed to work.
I'm restraining myself from going on a tirade about how, um, 'dumb' do you have to be not to realize this?
I know there isn't anyone to complain to, they're too busy trying to decide which restroom a transsexual is going to be allowed to use.
WTF!
If they EVER figure that one out [like Roe V Wade they will have to re-visit it constantly] because the ones benefiting from a broken commerce system don't want it fixed, isn't 'participatory' politics GREAT!
In the beginning it was understood that not EVERYTHING was on the table to be voted upon...and commerce was one of them.
The 'change' from symbiotic to predatory can be traced directly to the bloodless coup lead by the Reagan Republicans.
But let's put that aside for a moment while we re-focus on the issue at hand, 'fiscal security' where the 'investor' has zero control over the object of their desires.
What can you, er, 'hoard' that will provide you with the 'security' you crave? [Ammunition?] How about food? Where do you keep your food if you don't have a place to live and do you simply live to protect your food from the many things that want to join you for a meal?
Money has a 'floating' value as prices chase customers which pushes shelf life. The price will remain high until the item is almost garbage, hows that for 'predatory'?
The 'trick' to committing to using money as your 'safety net' is gaining direct access to the source so you will never run out. That way if you run low you can just whip up a fresh batch!
Where's the 'value' in that? [You tell me...because it's why you can't get any value for your 'hard earned'...whatever.]
Leading us to the inevitable 'what are you gonna do when everyone realizes money is worthless?' [No matter how much you have you will ALWAYS need MORE!]
I can't spell it out for you any plainer than that. Do I really NEED to ask you 'how stupid are you?'
Isn't it time for an 'alternative'?
Under ASP YOUR money is literally for YOU and since making a 'profit' is illegal, it is for YOU alone.
The ONLY way to get money is to WORK for it and the ONLY place you can spend your money is at the 'nobody owns it' retail outlet where product is priced by availability [like it's SUPPOSED to be!]
There will be limits on what you can buy (to insure 'availability') hoarding will be a punishable offense. [Don't ask because they can't and the eye that never blinks is watching.]
Which is to say 'pilferage' will not vanish just because YOU can't sell what you 'take'.
Despite taking what doesn't belong to you being an exile offense. [Nuthin' for nuthin' will remain in full force.] Stuff that doesn't move in its allotted window will go 'on special' but there will be a procedure to be adhered to.
There will be a unit of the uh-oh squad that does nothing but track pilfered goods so you better be MUCH slicker than you think you are because the penalty for screwing the people you live with will be SEVERE [unlike now where they laugh in your face while you watch helplessly.]
But we dance upon the edge of 'who is dreaming now?'
That said, I once again belabor the obvious when I point out that you CHOOSE to live like this when it could be otherwise...perhaps it's the 'wise' part that keeps throwing you?
Thanks once again for letting me inside you mind,
Gegner
