Greetings good citizen, perhaps one of the most telling phenomenon confronting human civilization is the trend between the destitute masses and the tiny crop of billionaires they have, er, 'spawned'.
The 'disparity' is staggering, a few thousand (literally, at last look this was just under 3,000) billionaires and 7 billion people living virtually hand to mouth.
How the f does this happen? [Rhetorical question: Everybody knows.]
Myth would have you believe that every one of our billionaire class earned every penny all by their lonesome but that is not the case for pretty much all of them. Today's billionaires have the fraud riddled stock markets to thank for their eye popping (albeit 'undeserved') wealth.
Who is behind the fraudulent stock markets? The Banksters.
They promise to deliver for their wealthy customers and they do by creating 'imaginary value'.
Ya know that thing we are all taught to fear, the dreaded Ponzi Scheme? Well, 90% of capitalism is a Ponzi scheme that feeds off of 'new' investors to reward existing clients.
Worse, it's all tied to the need to borrow your future from the Bankster.
That's how they get away with it. [Making their clients rich on paper, that is.]
Today's economy relies on hyperinflated estimates of 'potential' that have no way to be realized (so inflation kicks in to cover the overshoot.)
This will strangle civilization in its cradle because the typical 'participant' isn't sophisticated enough to understand that all money is funny and money's True Purpose is to facilitate the specialization/expertise modern civilization has come to rely on.
The equation hasn't changed, $ = Will. It's not money that makes things happen but money that makes it possible to research alternatives.
So having ANY segment of the population endowed with more money that it takes for them to survive is a gross misuse of money's intended purpose.
This winners and losers thing is a fake dogma set up and perpetuated by the feckless, those most famously known for their credo, "Hooray for me and fuck you!"
Society/humanity relies on trust and cooperation. If you can't be trusted or won't cooperate to help mankind advance you forfeit your membership in society, you have defaulted to choosing your own welfare ahead of that of your species.
It is difficult to watch the few wax fat while the majority starve because EVERY system to date has operated on basis of letting 'a few' prosper so long as most got 'some'.
Where is today's billionaire on that scale? How can anyone, besides the banksters/billionaire justify this?
Short answer: They CAN'T...but what are YOU going to do about it? [Rhetorical question, everybody KNOWS what you are going to 'do' ; it starts with N and ends with uthin.]
Worse, if we fail to return money to its original purpose the feckless few will run civilization into the ground...and they will scream in fear because 'society' will refuse to protect them.
The feckless are quick to abandon the 'safety' of the herd when they contrive to set themselves above the society they bilked but demand (and when that fails they shamelessly plead) for society's protection when their victims come seeking justice.
Why does society allow this to happen?
The rich get that way by spreading it around, that 'blind eye' that pervades society is bought and paid for.
The 'bought' also forfeit their membership in society alongside the buyers, dereliction of your duty to your fellow human carries the harshest penalty of all but everybody knows the price of hooray for me and fuck you!
In that one there is only feigned (fake) innocence, the pretense of ignorance followed by repeated denials of what even a child knows without being told.
A society that fails to protect all of its members equally is a failed society.
Wake the fuck up, Head!

ReplyDeleteWe all instinctively know right from wrong, pretending otherwise is shameful.
