Saddle

Greetings good citizen/fellow human, while most of you have incredible imaginations (and an even more powerful repertoire of baseless denials) I wonder if you can picture yourself both 'back in the saddle' as well as wearing one? We all 'imagine' we are in control but if we were to be brutally honest with ourselves we'd find just how 'delusional' that thought really is.

Rather than being the cowpoke it is closer to the mark to picture yourself as one of the cattle, a bovine being driven by your basic needs as you jump through increasingly more difficult hoops to achieve a sense of mastery over your circumstances...while never actually coming to terms with the fact that you are simply a cow in a chute being lead to slaughter.

Um, constant reader knows this isn't 'optimism central'. The Gegner show isn't about sunshine, lollipops and rainbows everywhere...it's about the proverbial shit sandwich and our endless appetite for, well just one more bite [if it postpones our date with the guy with the hammer for a few minutes more.]

It is here things get sketchy, the revolting part of our predator/prey relationship is the part where this is being done to us by [presumably] our 'fellow humans'. What we don't know is if this is the case. Working off the premise that 'we' are the 'only ones here', it sure looks like humans slaughtering other humans just so they can have an 'easy' life.

Not that this is totally true. Those doing the killing are taught almost from birth that they are 'better' than the rest of us. So it's like when a man slaughters an animal, it's not murdering your own kind but putting down an, er, 'invasive species' that just happens to look a lot like you.

[Did you get a chill running down your spine yet?]

Our heads are, er, 'bizarre places' overflowing with delusions put there by others.

If pressed, most of us would considerable difficulty defending our 'interpretation of reality'.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see. [Worse, what you 'see' isn't the whole story!]

Once again we run head on into the importance of 'Consensus'. Right now we'd be hard pressed to agree that day is light and night is dark, so confused and manipulated has our perceptions become!

Once more into 'the breach'...

The collective 'we' are being preyed upon by a class of humans that believes themselves to be superior to us in every way.

This 'superiority' has led to these deranged individuals seizing control of the justice system and privatizing it [because 'private property' is considered by our self-professed 'betters' to be above the scrutiny of the public. It is 'none of our business' how a private endeavor conducts its business, it is their business, not the public's.

Wait a minute Slim, this shitshow is just getting started! Prison's are the only thing they have 'privatized'. Never before has there been so much 'secrecy' shrouding the agencies established to 'protect us'. [Nor have they ever been more focused on protecting themselves!]

Worse, the delusions only get more powerful from here.

Since Morning in America the idea the commerce is an end unto itself has been enshrined as sacred.

This simple departure from the 'founding principal' that commerce exists to serve humanity results in a bastardization of the lynchpin of commerce, MONEY.

Post Morning in America, the 'Robber Baron' class established that they were the new 'apex predators' and that those who refused to defend themselves from their goals were 'fair game'. They 'defunded' the Democratic political machine and replaced it with the dollar.

It was no longer about people, it was now about dollars...dollars they could print at leisure and make as many as they liked, especially since the new political calculus was 'one dollar = one vote' and the one with the most dollar/votes wins.

Life ISN'T about Dollars/money, it's about LIFE and life is all about survival. We, er, 'conquered' this planet TOGETHER, we can't allow 'a few' to claim what it took millions of us to achieve!

Those that can't be trusted must be EXILED.

Those that believe they are 'better' than the rest of us establish that baseline for untrustworthiness.

Can you remove the blinders the feckless have 'saddled' you with?

THanks for letting me inside your head,

Gegner
