Greetings good citizen, I know most of you dislike having your 'belief system' challenged, it's your anchor to the way things 'should be'.
But if somebody doesn't slap you upside the head and scream 'wake-up!' you're gonna be sitting there, shell-shocked that the world you knew has move on and left you bereft wondering what the hell happened.
You can literally SEE capitalism crumbling before your eyes and you have no idea what to do about it [which is quite normal, there ISN'T much YOU can do but roll with it.]
I was watching Fox/National Geographic's 'The legend of Mick Dodge' yesterday and it got me wondering. What was numbnuts going to do when every Tom, Dick & Harry was out in the woods 'foraging' what he considers 'his' wild edibles? Call the cops? Kill'em?
First thing you notice is ol' Mick is getting a little 'long in the tooth' to be doing what he's doing much longer. I'm going to guess this little 'reality show' IS his 'retirement plan'. Probably sold it to Nat Geo for 'half' what it would cost them to produce 'quality content'.
Sorry if I lost you there but the 'connection' I was making is this 'reality star' is doing what the rest of us will be forced to do if we want to survive...and that's going to roll the 'social clock' back over a million years [prior to the time when we were 'tribal', prior to the time when we didn't kill one another on sight.]
HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT 'recommend' heading out into the 'wilderness' until a few months 'AFTER THE COLLAPSE' when the killing stops, head out before that and it's going to be a mess out there. Worse, it will NEVER be 'safe'.
Not that hunkering down in place will be much better.
Sorry good citizen, I guess I should have 'eased you into' the nightmare scenario headed our way, the 'sudden collapse' of capitalism' and the resultant 'grab-fest' that will follow in the immediate aftermath and the huge 'die-off' that will follow after that [because most of the morons will grab stuff that is useless in a survival situation and will be forced to switch to preying upon the 'better prepared' but still none too bright.]
THERE IS A WAY to change over to a new system that will keep our species moving forward but the 'image conscious thieves' that rule us would rather let BILLIONS of you die than appear 'weak'...or worse, admit culpability.
So it's 'on' and sadly there isn't a reliable method to save millions (or even thousands) of lives. [Hundreds are possible but it would take a concerted effort BEFORE the fact.]
Because those who do zero heavy lifting now don't plan on doing any after either!
Once again we are left agog at what we will be forced to go through just so 'the elite' won't look bad (or worse, what they are, which is 'clueless'.)
Please forgive me for belaboring the obvious: the folks currently in charge HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!
Worse, we all know it!
So we are faced with this perpetual slow motion trainwreck as our civilization and what passes for society crumbles into...[fill-in-your-own-blank]
Will it happen tomorrow? I'm only 'reasonably confident' the answer is NO but the very idea that confidence is not 100% should be enough to shake you to your core.
What can YOU do about it? If you haven't already, I advise you get your hands on at LEAST the minimum recommended rations FEMA tells us EVERYBODY should keep on hand in case of, er, 'an emergency'.
Understand after will be too late and 'during' is going to be risky as hell.
FEMA also advises you prepare a 'boogie bag' with your important papers so if the disaster is personal [house catches on fire] you won't have to go through the painful process of 're-applying' for all your lost documents.
But if the world is headed for the septic system, papers will be the last thing you'll need.
Each region has its recommendations and many citizens adhere to those recommendations [although I'd bet few keep those rations 'fresh'. Too expensive for most of us, especially the 'hand to mouth' crowd that comprises the majority of us.]
So what you're gonna want to do is head to the grocery store and 'stock up' on non-perishables like pasta and things like tomato paste and bullion to make basic sauce with. Sure, it's loaded with carbos but when you're down to one meal a day that's a good thing!
Then there's the water part of the puzzle, you can't have enough water because you use it all the time! The minimum recommended is based on using it for DRINKING ONLY, can't cook with it and you can't use it to wash dishes with or dumber, flush the toilet with!
Most important thing you can do for you and yours is defense. Even if it's just your classic Louisville Slugger you're better off than going bare-handed with someone twice your size and half your age...[probably a third your IQ to boot!]
When would I do all of this...yesterday.
You needn't be Nostradamus to see that the situation [long known to be drawing to a close] is being ignored rather than addresed. Don't wait for a 'heads up' from the 'trust me' crowd, it ain't comin'.
While no one is more amazed than me it's 2016 and the wheels haven't come flying off yet, it won't be much longer. Things literally can't go on like this! Handwriting has been on the wall for a long time now, the scary part is they're still playing the same tune when it should have changed a long time ago.
A sure sign they don't know what to do next.
So the 'you're on your own' paradigm shift is nearing its conclusion meaning collapse is near at hand.
I've predicted 'the end' more than once but I apparently mis-judged how long they could flog an already dead horse. It's been dead for a long time now and the games are getting bolder, meaning the end is getting closer.
Don't get sucked in or worse, caught with your pants down! [unprepared]
The time to prepare is NOW! The thing to keep in mind is all those 'prepper' shows provided prime examples of WHAT NOT TO DO!
Advice...Don't be a 'target' which is tangental to not keeping one's eggs in one basket. Have multiple stashes and stay 'invisible'; don't be around when others will be 'on the hunt'.
Only the smart/clever will survive.
