March!

Greetings good citizen, congratulations on making it to month 50 of 45's reign of terror.

How many of you are distracted by A-Bomb armed Pakistan's contentious stand off with its H-bomb armed mother nation? Is the Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist nation a microcosm of the larger world?

WHO keeps pounding on the wedges that drive humanity apart.

Is "we've always done it this way!" (and everybody knows this way is the RIGHT way) really an excuse to murder those who disagree, often without asking.

Spring for the northern hemisphere is but weeks away although the (brief) return of warm weather won't commence until Memorial Day around these parts.

What's this have to do with war and the feckless few who wage it? Quite a bit as weather often governs fighting conditions. Like sports, weather has a way of 'muting' conflict.

Even the Native populations eschewed conflict during the growing season, preferring to wait until after the harvest to engage in herd thinning activities.

Same thing with nuclear conflict, preferably they would wait until 'the holidays', after the harvest has been brought in and processed before they burnt the fields for thousands of years to come in one fell swoop.

Potassium Iodine, you're gonna need lots of it for a real long time.

In milder climes they are already preparing to plant this year's first crops. Is it ironic that the war-like tribes of the planet live in the colder, less verdant north?

Worse, the further north you go the more aggressive humans become.

Is anybody else picking up on the dangers of the 'world of I' here? [We stupidly believe MOST other humans are just like us, this is a huge mistake!]

Look at India for an example of just how 'diverse' people of the same race can be. This is what the equation looks like with 'color' removed.

Without 'color' to divide them, the dominant religion in middle Asia was built on the 'caste' system where accident of birth dictated what 'class' an individual belonged to. I dare not say anymore as I am not versed in the whole story, especially how the 'castes' work.

What made one a Brahmin and another untouchable, I'm guessing defies both logic and reason.

Just as it seems no one can put their finger on what 'the knack' is [when logic points at criminality and legal manipulation being the main factors.]

This is where the quibbles begin and the endless parsing of the meaning of everything.

The answer to 'why' is 'because', pull on either thread again and it starts a whole new cycle of 'questioning' more accurately identified as 'avoidance.'

Doubt serves the feckless.

Truth is relative so in the end all that matters are 'results'.

Where does this leave YOU?

Have a nice weekend,

Gegner
