Greetings good citizen, for a long time it has become increasingly apparent that there exists a 'fantasy' USA and the one we wake up to everyday. The one presented to us in the rhetoric of the ruling class is the verdant green nation that the pilgrims arrived in 250 plus years ago, the other is the results of what almost three hundred years of European invaders has wrought

The true disconnect is disturbing enough, one is tempted to believe those who imagine fantasy USA think this is (still) the 'land of opportunity' and if you tilt your head a certain way and squint real hard you can just see the outline of 'Fantasy America', the land the WASPS colonized all those centuries ago...but squinting like that for extended periods of time will give you a whanging headache...which might explain those buckles on the pilgrim's hats...

Ah, the lengths we go through to look 'stylish!'.

But I digress...

Today Mr. Krugman makes an interesting observation that the Senate provides rural America [which tends to be lily white and more than a touch racist (which they defend as being 'God fearing') with a bully pulpit the WASPs can use to stymie the political process.

They (the WASPs) call this 'Values voting) which is another way of flashing the rest of us a rigid middle finger as the sing their favorite song, "My way or the highway!" [mentally accompany that verse with a few twanging banjos and you get the picture.]

Country is all about 'country'...the part they downplay is THEIR COUNTRY.

Besides the rigid middle finger they are also mighty quick with the 'and if you don' like it, git the fuk out!'

Sadly this might be (in your squeeny little head) 'YOUR country' but this is OUR F'N PLANET and WE aren't going anywhere.

Once again the 'numbers' are AGAINST YOU. [Ironically this fact (like all others) doesn't even slow them down.]

Stupid is dauntless and this is what does them in (because stupid is also stupid...)

So we once again identify yet another 'design flaw' in our 270 + year old political system [that the morons who can't even spell 'Patriot'] proudly declare they would lay down their (worthless) lives for.

Yeah, the closer you look, the more apparent it becomes that we are all inmates on an insane asylum.

Greetings good citizen, I belabor the obvious when I used the term 'unfit', the part that isn't obvious is the kabuki dance that put a man so deeply out of touch with reality in the seat of authority in the first place.

Yesterday I pointed at someone who has faded almost completely from public memory although once he was as reviled as El Rushbo.

Who am I referring to? Karl Rove, who many felt should have been prosecuted for his part in the conservative takeover of the USA.

To this day I remain uncertain if his 'History's Actors' speech was meant for public consumption but out of it came two clear statements of fact, number one being there is an 'organized conspiracy' to delude the public and second that it goes above what the public is taught is the land's 'highest authority'.

Who is above the government/law? The Owners.

Should those who own [a tiny minority) ever feel threatened by the majority they had one mighty ally they could rely on and that was STUPID!

Not sure how accurate or complete the net is on 'recent history' so I am unsure how much to tell you about Mr. Rove. SOME of the people of my generation will recognize the name but few will associate it with 'History's Actors' or even recall that, er, 'confession' even exists.

Very much like Steve Bannion, Karl Rove was W's campaign manager. Upon arriving in Washington he was appointed his DEPUTY 'chief of staff', code at the time for a recent arrival on the political stage, the propaganda minister is a product of our modern mass media environment we find ourselves drowning in every waking moment.

Few consider that psychologists were fascinated with the effects 'the power of suggestion' produced on broad audiences, especially those that were unaware they were being 'propagandized'!

Out of this fascination came such programs as Rush Limbaugh, a failed attorney who excelled at peddling bullshit. Not only could he sell it but he could make it up on the fly to suit almost any situation.

A word about El Rushbo, the critical ear, one practiced at detecting deception, could tell automatically that this guy was full of it but I think the public, one that FALSELY believes it is both 'modestly prosperous' and 'reasonably intelligent' (because they have been taught they were!) is incapable of sorting fact from fiction.

One of the first things psychologists learned was that listeners would automatically suck up compliments as being directed at them. Another thing that astounded them is people would ignore negative remarks, which is why few remember the 'history's actors' confession...and even fewer seem to remember W's very public admission that HIS (the Republican party's) constituency was THE HAVES AND THE HAVE MORES!

Fascinatingly enough, bone stupid protestants actually interpreted this to mean themselves!

Equally as mystifying is Trump's feat of making the hopelessly stupid believe HE is 'one of them'. [You have to be some kind of simple to believe that.]

Nothing about Trump or his life is ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY like the experiences of your typical individual but the average moron walks around believing they are something they are not because the media teaches them they are special and what they want matters!

Ever wonder why everybody you meet is so full of THEMSELVES? It is the result of a reckless and rampant 'culture' of sell, sell, sell!

Step one is becoming friends and step two is suggesting maybe you need a change, a little pick me up. Hey here's an idea! Why not BUY SOMETHING!

If there is one 'danger' facing society today it is the subversion of the individual's ability to reason by today's modern political operatives.

There are already tremors in the current politisphere pointing a finger at sufferage as the primary cause of today's political upheaval but at the risk of oversimplifying a complex situation, if your Mom doesn't have your back, who does?

That said, we are faced with another perplexing phenomenon, a majority of conservatives are female.

Perhaps it is due to social conditioning that conservative females prefer to vote for male representation (that shits all over them but what are you going to do? Let the 'liberals' give away the store?)

Zero irony that because most conservatives are female doesn't alter the WHACKO indictment one iota. [A head full of lies tends to cause that.]

Like religion (and its principal by-product, hatred) our politics are 'learned' [precisely the same way we learn to be STUPID by being TAUGHT lies as facts!]

Greetings good citizen, since his inauguration 2 years ago the media has kept our attention focused on the Buffoon-in-Chief, whether we want to dwell on the national disappointment or not.

And for a sector that is regularly used as a punching bag by sitting POTUS they are strangely silent regarding his UNpopularity. In fact if we went solely by media reports you'd think Christ occupied the White House.

It is 'counter productive' to belabor the obvious when the clueless narcissist promptly jams one of his hooves in his mouth every time he opens it (Could he be any DUMBER?)

Now here we are and the, er, PEOPLE THAT WRITE FOR THEIR PAYCHECKS are doing everything in their power to make these midterms a referendum on the Head Oaf.

Like the process that gifted the feckless with Carte Blanche to pass tax cuts that weren't on radar and, regardless of outcome, are going to gut Social Security and Medicare...which will result in a hot guerilla war across that nation. [Civil DISOBEDIENCE will be the 'new normal', Blue lights? What blue lights?]

Now the MEDIA will tell us the 'results' of the midterms without a vote actually being cast. They could tell us today but that would serve to prove the process is window dressing, you vote has NEVER counted...literally.

I return your attention to the media's insistence that the nation is DIVIDED and they are CORRECT, it's just the size of the divide they are, er, 'keeping to themselves' [or they'd forfeit their jobs.]

While the 'inference' is the split is 50-50 the truth of the matter is 99 - 1.

99% of us are losing and only 1 percent are 'winning'.

Under these circumstances it is only a matter of time before they order their 'thralls' to murder as many of us as they can.

Worse, the guys with the printing press will put a damn bounty on us.

Greetings good citizen, seems the corporate owned media is prepping 'the sheep' for another epic disappointment. What's the 'propaganda machines' latest? WHY AREN'T DEMOCRATS WALKING AWAY WITH THE MIDTERMS?

If you've been watching the (frantic) 'get out the vote' machine, the pundits tell their listeners horror stories about what El Trumpo will do if we fail to spank him in the midterms and then they stop.

So here's the memo explaining why 'more of the same' isn't going to change ANYTHING!

If we could impeach Trump by literally casting ballots against him [go to the polls and vote him out] it would have happened 2 years ago. If the ballot provided a method of discriminating...a method to vote against what we DON'T want, TRUMP is the result of the 'binary' decision making process!

The 'unstupid' know that if we keep voting for people to make decisions for us without ever consulting us with zero consequences for selling us out that things will only continue to deteriorate.

It's time for 'Something New'.

Yes good citizen, technology has provided us with the 'opportunity' to stop doing things the 'caveman way' and let us vote directly on the LAW...and ONLY the LAW.

Who will 'lead' us? Isn't it time we let the 'marketplace of ideas' decide? Ending poverty will handle itself with the implementation of 'paychecks all around' [billionaires go 'poof'!] as money is returned to it's 'intended purpose' of facilitating specialization.

Banking goes poof along with debt and insurance. Don't be alarmed, the people that fix things are still on the payroll, the big change will be they get paid regardless so you don't have to pay them too!

Same thing with the shack, you need a place to live and it's just sitting there, why should you have to squander most of your income just to line a banker's pockets?

Storms, earthquakes, floods and wildfires are all facts of life, why should it be your problem to insure against them?

Well, NONE of that changes if you continue to use the 'sheep in a chute' decision-making process.

Just as 'God's will' has fallen under increasing suspicion [due to 'his' conspicuous and extended absence] so it is increasingly evident that the current political process holds zero consequences for those who would promise the public prosperity and deliver bags of feces, claiming post facto they didn't specify what kind of 'riches' they'd deliver!

Why vote for people who commit to nothing and aren't held accountable for their FAILURE?

Isn't ignorance wonderful? The media is telling the gullible that the economy added 250,000 jobs last MONTH. [While the pre-Morning in America Economy generated that many jobs IN A WEEK!]

Apparently the 'THEY THINK WE'RE STUPID' crowd also believes people are ignorant of what percent of 400 MILLION 250 THOUSAND is.

Welcome to the 'economic desert'! Capitalism CAN'T provide jobs for all that need them and EVERYBODY must have a job if they are to participate in society! The masses of refugees are all the evidence anyone needs that 'living off the land is no longer a viable option...unless you're impossibly stupid.

Those denied an honest living will take what they need however they can.

Only the feckless confuse/conflate need with 'want'...

But perhaps it is the growing awareness that things aren't adding up that is resulting in the rising dissatisfaction with business as usual.

WHY are there 'migrant caravans' heading towards our southern border?

Again it comes down to math. Only 1 in 4 Admits to being Republican so we come to the lying media that refuses to let the process work and uses heuristics and the constant drumbeat of 'a divided nation'

How the hell can we be 'divided' when 90% of us are unmistakably on the 'losing' side?

NEWSFLASH FOR THE MORONS: You do what you do because if you don't, you'll DIE!

Civilization is a complex machine with many moving parts and often this creates confusion as to the 'importance' of certain tasks...although nobody questions banking or insurance, those are moronically viewed as 'bedrock industries' (that exist SOLELY to support slavery) gives you an idea of the values held dear by those pretending to 'lead' us!

It's going to take more than not voting to create positive change but fear not, the threats have already produced the impetus to act.

The danger here is the lack of consensus [which has been carefully cultivated, the most dangerous foe is a united one!]

THe nation divided is central to the 'divide and conquer' strategy that has worked consistently in the past.

This is how the 1 % is kicking our ass. Hope they enjoyed their run because it's over.

Direct democracy, coupled with 'qualified' leadership based on a shared vision are concepts whose time has come.
