What's driving the stock market?

Greetings good citizen, Just a quickie post [an idea I've toyed with considerably in the past. I frequently stumble on newsworthy data during my daily browsing.] to point to a fresh headline that probably baffles most of you.

Um, I usually don't because it strikes me as belaboring the obvious...but the feckless media does it all the time (so what the hey.)

What couldn't wait for tomorrow?

The F'n stock market hit a new high on record trading.

We live in a society fraught with FRAUD. What's driving the stock market? Remember the other day when I pointed to companies posting record profits but there was nothing to give you come review time because all the 'profits' were being spent to buy back the shares [so the executives could cash in on their 'performance based' compensation packages?]

Now there's a loop that has illegal written all over it but our clueless legislators don't even raise a jaded eyebrow. [WTF!]

Isn't THAT what's troubling you?

Just saw the headline and wanted to be sure you UNDERSTOOD what's going on!

Greetings good citizen, I am not focused on knocking down the Trump administration and I make no secret of my disgust with the entire 'political process' [if you can call it that; more closely resembles a hokey dog & pony act.]

So yesterday I did a double take when I saw El Trumpo on TV telling the public that he was 'working hard' to get them the tax cut they were demanding...you know, the same one the average Trump voter won't see a penny of?

NOBODY is crying for tax relief yet here is Mr. Clueless 'reassuring' the public that he's hard at work making the republic safe for the people that truly 'Make America Great'...the already wealthy!

Since taxes are like the stock markets, [absolutely useless] under ASP there won't be either because both are cons designed to enrich the already wealthy.

[If you're serious about draining the swamp, Wall Street is the place to start!] End the malfeasance and EVERYBODY can retire in comfort and security [not just your broker!]

End the theft of cash after it's been 'used' and instantly end the drug trade, human trafficking and the arms industries which can only exist in a world run by CRIMINALS.

[Not only is 'investment' a chimera but the entire justice [for a price] system is a 'racket' as well!]

Again, I'm not telling the 'cognizant' anything they don't know...the problem here appears to be the confusion surrounding how many know...and it's a lot larger number than anyone thinks.

If everybody knows, why does it keep happening?

Fear...of upsetting an already fragile apple cart.

Crush that cart and chaos ensues [for a short while, then order will be restored and the new rules will be enforced.]

It's that brief period of instablility everyone is afraid of...like that first plunge into the pool...you know it's cold but you also know you will get used to it fairly quickly!

And the proposed 'changes' brought about by ASP are easier than what we do now [because they're 'organic', the part that's going to take some getting used to is they also 'make sense'.

[When you live in a society filled with nonsense and picayune BS it's because you're being ripped off!]

Thus do we have a neverending 'war on intelligence'.

First they insult your intelligence then they tell you that even thinking of yourself as intelligent only proves how stupid you are.

It's the old 'heads I win and tails you lose' ruse writ large...and it's EVERYWHERE!

It must stop...how do you stop it? Same way you stop 'why'...with a firm 'because'. [After the first couple of repititions, it stops being a question and starts being a recital of the next to the last letter in the alphabet as they giggle with delight over their victims growing frustration and rage!]

The feckless really are a simple lot and they take endless delight in being 'difficult'.

You just have to be aware of what you're dealing with and be constantly 'on guard' because the Old Ones are no better than those 'too young to appreciate' their actions.

It's all a game to them and the object of the game is 'getting over' on YOU!

All fine and well until you find yourself in the victim's shoes!

Do I need to break out that mystical 'golden ruler'? [Probably what gave birth to it...the 'I'm so clever and you're so dumb' BS everybody pulls when the opportunity presents itself.

[Which is to point out 'the problem' is hardly 'new'....but few realize that.]

This is the pickle we find ourselves in, our so called 'leader' is doing exactly what he promised NOT to do...and we are frustrated/surprised because we were duped again?

It hasn't changed and it isn't going to so long as you keep letting them get away with it.

Nothing you can do about it?

Now you're getting the idea!

DO NOTHING [and mean it!]

Better, do nothing on the clock and get paid for it! (They do it all the time!) [They already accuse you of it so you might as well. Not nice to make a liar out of your self-professed superiors!]

Shameless is a two edged sword...don't ya think it's about time you started using your side?

Harvesting Rage

Greetings good citizen, today's NY Times headlined a story about Russian election meddling using the 'rage' of...[label however you like, there isn't a good word for this.]

Did our intrepid 'hackers' have to dig deep to mine the wounded American psyche? Nope, in fact it seems they barely scratched the surface.

Worse, the stuff they did pull up was just the crap that has occurred since 'Morning in America' and the defacto dismantling of the world's last remaining 'Superpower'.

Full Stop: How pathetic is it that despite all of our 'problems' nobody can say they wish they lived somewhere else because things are 'as bad' [if not worse, relativistically speaking] everywhere else.

[Scandanavia has a certain appeal but it's only an option if you're white and Christian...(from a 'you'll blend right in' point of view) Once the economy becomes 'super-saturated' you're just as skunked as you would be here.]

[Economics 101: NOBODY can live in an 'economic desert'.]

Part of the global crisis is the 'super-saturated' economy, you know the one that is doing terrific (as long as you don't look too closely at the particulars.)

Remember, most of 'what you know' is spoonfed to you by the media. [The 'point' of yesterday's piece.]

Injustice aside [and thinly vieled hatred of the ruling elite] the outrage the hackers 'dredged up' is still fresh in the mind of tens of millions of bewildered workers who did 'all the right things' and still found themselves on society's scrap heap. Being forced repeatedly to 're-invent' themselves so they could try to survive in the viscous FU pay me! environment our government pretty much pretends isn't there.

Did the Russian stirring of that pot change anything?

What do you think? It did manage to get one of the 'lesser oligarchs' elected [and what a fiasco that's turning out to be!]

Once again proving the axiom that money and intelligence are totally unrelated. [If you have a lot of money you aren't necessarily 'smart', amassing a large fortune has always involved a criminal element (such as holding the government hostage for basic necessities.) The world's greatest fortunes can be found in the hands of those who supply 'the crown'.

You have to marvel at why NONE of this stuff is taught in school [but the crown isn't interested in intelligent subjects, it wants OBEDIENT subjects! The 'smart ones' invariably ask too many 'uncomfortable questions' and many of the crown's actions can be made to appear 'self-serving' (mostly because they are.)]

We 'pretend' the crown is no more yet it's continued existence is precisely why we are so 'outraged' over the faux ineffectiveness of our elected government.

Isn't the problem really one of the government not being responsive to those who grant it power?

Yet magically the government declares war and appropriates funds, hires mercs to fight the war then levies taxes to pay for it all without ever asking us in the first place...isn't that what's pissing you off?

And that's just the surface of the 'mis-management' soufflé. Trade policies that have eviscerated the entire US manufacturing sector are just the tip of another huge mismanagement boondoggle.

Did the Russians [Russia is still there, the SOVIETS are defunct...] have to dig deep to dredge up these governmental blunders?

Nope...but nothing changed either.

We would still have been faced with a run-off between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich.

Here's one for you thinking people! How do you 'maintain' a living wage WITHOUT 'wage/price controls'?

Short answer...you CAN'T!

If you can't control prices then the rapacious quickly remove the 'wiggle room' out of the wage scale.

Why is everybody pissed off? Because retirement has become the New American Dream! Most of us will never 'retire' because of the O.O.C. wage/price situation!

Worse, most of us DREAD retirement! [Which for most of us conjures up images of living in iceboxes and eating pet food; waiting for the next health crisis [usually precipatated by our inability to properly care for ourselves (due to lack of funds)] to end us.

This is what we are handing our kids. A (tiny) puddled filled with people who have more than they'll ever need [accident of birth, not 'smarts' or cleverness.] and a choking, festering cesspit where the rest will scratch out a meager living until fate ends their 'usefulness' to the feckless capitalists.

Now it's 'truth and honesty time...Am I 'exaggerating'?

Only YOU know the answer...I'm not here to tell you what to think, my job is to give you something to think about!

Did You Know?

Greetings good citizen, today's topic is fraught with conjecture very much along the lines of one individual's trash is another's treasure...like today's, er, announcement that the global economy is in absolutely thriving, couldn't be better [despite or perhaps because of global bank fraud...]

But I digress.

Let's rewind to the beginning of this topic and ask the question of what do YOU know and how did you come by that, er, 'Information'?

Probably splitting hairs here but the ONLY things you KNOW are the events you witness with your own eyes and ears...and we all know that's just the 'appearance' of an event. The victims of the Las Vegas attack only [gradually at that] became aware somebody was shooting at them for reasons unknown [and it's still a mystery, even the media hasn't speculated on a motive.] Which is to say witnessing something does little to inform us of what's going on and why.

Thus was the media born and its [sometimes] dogged pursuit of the 5 w's. Naturally the 'quality' of reporting often leaves much to be desired [again due to the tendency of the reporters to put their financial well-being ahead of the truth/the public's need to know.]

Why is it so difficult for the average person to accept you are lied to REGULARLY?

Again, I digress.

LIED is a strong word...the problem is how certain phrases 'color' how an event is interpreted. You have probably had knock down, drag out battles over what we writers lament as the 'imprecision of speech'.

I'm not telling anyone anything when it comes to the subject of 'splitting hairs'. Um, putting ourselves in the bearer of bad tidings position doesn't make it any more understand/forgivable.

The 'messenger' knows what they have to share won't be received well and you can only skirt the truth just so much.

WITH THAT IN MIND, Now what do you KNOW?

The wife is home for the holiday [I usually write these missives in blissful silence but she needs 'background noise' to listen to so the news in on.]

Have you noticed the 'news' is SO uninteresting that it literally slides off of you? What kind of a line on your resume is it that you can babble ceaselessly and communicate absolutely nothing?

NOW 'what do you KNOW?'

Don't get me wrong...you KNOW intimately the conditions under which you live your life and you know/are aware that most of what you 'hear' is a self-serving lie, often curious but of little real meaning to your humble life.

You know quite a bit. [Often despite the best efforts of the 'info-tainment industry' to muddy the waters more than they already are!]

The 'wonder' of it all is that we aren't ALL candidates for the looney bin. [Don't even want to go digging around that rabbit hole because like so many things, sanity is 'relative'.]

You KNOW what you like and you know what you BELIEVE [true or not so much...the truth is also 'relative', often qualified with an 'ish'.

You also know what 'sounds right' and you have the uncanny ability to 'sense' truthfulness...often overridden by your feelings for the teller. {Odd to have a 'gift' for telling truth from lies but if you 'like' the teller you will tend to believe them anyway so as not to offend them.}

Weirdly, this in the face of the teller's indifference towards your acceptance of them. [If they cared they wouldn't lie.]

Didn't think this was going there, did ya?

Yup, it's 'find a mirror' time!

If you WANT to put a stop to all the BS you need to start trusting your instincts!

'Calm before the storm'

Greetings good citizen, The child the feckless installed in the White house [STOP: IT doesn't matter if you voted for him for not, what YOU did had no impact on the outcome of the election and hasn't since the beginning.]

What The Founders WANTED was a MONARCHY but they couldn't agree on who so they settled on rule by meat puppet, an ever changing 'representative' of THEIR choosing that would faithfully execute the will of the founders. [Who are now entrenched oligarchs in every sense of the term.]

Of the SIXTEEN candidates fielded by the Republicans, none of them were 'electable' because they were all seen for what they are, LAPDOGS!

Zero effort was put into the 'token resistance side'. Hillary would have run 'unopposed' but Bernie stepped up to legitimize' her candidacy. How pathetic the ONLY reason she was ALLOWED TO RUN is 'name recognition!' [She too is an obvious LAPDOG.]

Which left 'clown-boy', the playground bully who made a name for himself shooting his mouth off on national television.

WHO AMONG YOU VOTED FOR PRESIDENT 'PUSSYGRABBER'? Stand and be counted because the few that did pushed that fact to the back of their mind when selecting who would be THEIR PRESIDENT.

Got news for you good citizen, 55% of the electorate is FEMALE...anyone care to speculate how he won?

Or did he? Voter turnout was abysmal, the choice was too odious to make.

How are you going to vote in the next election when your choices will be Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz [running as a Dem] Will you still think all is well with the process designed to 'entertain' you?

Doesn't matter who sits in the Oval Office if they ALL take their marching orders from K-Street!

So what 'storm' do you suppose will strike first? Do you think the child was referring to Huricaine Nate? Or was he flipping coins over North Korea and Iran?

ONE THING WE CAN RULE OUT IS HE ISN'T WORIED ABOUT A PALACE COUP, his 'handlers' have his back.

The REVOLT won't happen so it won't be televised.

[Your best bet is still the strike.] Think about that when you report to work tomorrow morning. How every day when you show up you are 'voting' for 'more of the same'...which ALWAYS gets gradually worse, incrementally. More work, same pay. Less time off [or if you take the time you have coming, you had best hope you like your next job better!]

There's never any money to hand out raises and despite the company 'doing great', most of the 'profits' go to the stock buy back program that makes bonuses for upper mis-management, so there is none for you.

You are caught in a trap and there is no way out!

Sit there and be shit upon or just sit there with your umbrella and let it pool around you because there is only one way to stop the useless shit and that's to stop 'putting out'.

If you can't 'live' on your paycheck [we're talking enjoy life a little, not just 'survive'] well NOTHING is going to change if you do nothing about it, right?

You only have two modes, stop and go...if you go you get what you get...if you stop you get noticed, then you get to ask the hard questions like 'what about us?'

If their answer is, "I can pay half of you to kill the other half!" Then it's time for Larry to have a little 'accident' with the nearest lightpole.

You can't argue with those who refuse to recognize your humanity...[some people will never acknowledge their actions have consequences] hence, you sure as hell can bring their mortality front and center!

How tragic it is that then and only then can they truly 'appreciate' just how monumentally they have f'd up!

Yup. Can't argue with a 'sick mind'; especially one that has already written YOU off as a waste of perfectly good butt-wipe.

That's what you're up against and that's what it's going to take to prove you mean business. How sad for the palace guard that knows no other way to be and doubly tragic for their children who will be exiled as punishment for their parents treachery!

If only the feckless had embraced the Human Anti-Exploitation law sooner...none of this would be 'necessary'.

Heart of the Matter

Greetings good citizen, the 'illusion of choice' persists and now El Trumpo is rolling back funding intended to combat overpopulation.

Somewhat ironic considering the feckless would sooner sterilize us ALL at birth, then clone what they like from what's left...

Naturally they point to 'cost' despite the growing awareness that 'money is meaningless' [especially YOURS!]

Some folks have received pay bumps that have been rapidly wiped out by price increases...those of us who scrape by in the gig economy didn't see a pay bump because the price is the price...we don't get to negotiate.

Once again one of the major factors plaguing society is the one where if your job doesn't pay you enough to survive on it's not your employer's problem, it's YOUR'S!

More disturbingly is the media, which doesn't report on half of the issues facing society suddenly being put on the defensive over allegations of Fake News.

People distrust the media because they [the media] have ignored issues like whether or not healthcare should be 'for profit' [it shouldn't] or why we, er, 'pretend' to be the planet's police force, defending the feckless's relentless pursuit of profits!

THIS is why the public 'distrusts' the media. It's also why the public distrusts the corporate controlled government...or ANY of their bought and paid for Politicians.

The situation is out of control and will soon culminate in blood in the streets...problem is NOBODY will know what they're fighting for [because United' we AREN'T!] It will start AND END in a 'tit for tat' thing that solves nothing...but in the background the feckless will 'restore order' with an iron fist and the Dark ages will return once more.

Question Authority and pay the price. Literally 'comply or die' writ large.

This is the government the feckless think YOU deserve.

While we outnumber them we have a chance of turning the tide but that 'advantage' won't last long considering they have 'superior firepower' on their side. [firepower YOU paid for! Isn't voting for someone to make decisions in your name without EVER consulting you GREAT?

It has been the 'primrose path' of all primrose paths and you fell for it hook, line and sinker!

How bizarre your BEST DEFENSE is to DO NOTHING!

[You are only 'suffered' by the feckless to do THEIR heavy lifting, otherwise they'd slaughter us ALL on sight!]

For all of their whining about the 'lazy' they win the prize for being so lazy they don't want to do anything that even smacks of work!

Greetings good citizen, seems the 'symptoms' of economic mis-management are being detected by society's 'watchdog' but the CAUSE remains a 'mystery' [in as much as we circle back to that 'piss off the advertiser' type thing the media can't do if it wants to remain in the advertisers good graces/payroll.

The only thing 'competition' is 'good for' [in the eyes of the feckless] is a club with which to keep the main people 'in line' with.

Otherwise the feckless HATE competition.

They also have a severe dislike of 'redundancy' [shortages mean price increases...having 'back-up' keeps prices lower than they could be but that's part of keeping 'the rabble' in line.] Don't know who the rabble is? Find a mirror and you'll see one instantly!

The problem with that is the rabble eventually get used to 'doing without' and you wreck the market but how are you going to keep them pinned down if you can't squeeze 'em?

Think I'm 'off base', good citizen?

Business doesn't REALLY operate like that, does it?

WHO do you think is behind the 'government sucks' campaign?

Three guesses and the first two don't count. [If you're 'single factor' you'll never figure it out, the rest of you KNOW who I'm staring at...]

In a related story, today's NY Times ran this article about how only the rich are enjoying the (otherwise invisible) 'recovery' from the Great Recession.

As we continue with this edition of 'Economics for Dummies' the whipsaw of the 'failure' of innovation combined with the relentless surge in population growth has combined to virtually ELIMINATE 'opportunity'.

In this respect capitalism is a 'failed concept' that threatens 'social stability'.

WHO would end capitalism in favor of a more viable scheme?

Again, three guesses and the first two don't count. The answer (for those of you incapabe of figuring it out) is our corporate sponsored government.

What are the odds we will ever get a 'NEW DEAL' when the people who have a vested interest in keeping you pinned to the bottom of the pile continue to run things [regardless of how 'unfortunate' the situation becomes?]

They'll be all concern and sympathy but they will REFUSE to disconnect from the 'Golden Trough'...until we do it for them...just like they do what we suffer today 'FOR US.'

How fortunate is it for the leaders of this world that NONE of you love your kids?

If you had even the slightest inkling of compassion for your children this post would go viral twenty minutes after you recommend it!

But no.

You'll sit on your mouse and do nothing...let someone else 'save their kids'.

The rich have kids so it's not like we matter, there will always be kids...won't there?

With no one to guide them there soon won't be.

Even if you're barely an adult the future we are trying to save is YOURS!

The 'way out' is before your eyes! Tear down the predatory [banking, insurance & Real Estate] and replace it with the necessary that doesn't get done because the feckless use it to keep 'competition' fresh and on its toes.

Work is a RIGHT, it's HOW you BELONG! Your contributions make life worth living for EVERYONE! It is CRIMINAL to deny you a 'place at the table'.

Like the article says, many who are 'eliminated' from the workforce slide into poverty and addiction...both glaring examples of MISMANAGEMENT!

There is PLENTY of work for EVERYBODY [that's why we can reduce the work week and pay overtime after twenty hours!]

It ALL starts with the repurposing of money! EVERYBODY'S ACCOUNT IS ZEROED, cash is OUTLAWED and DEBT along with it.

NOW when you buy what you need from STORES the money is simply erased, NOBODY gets it!

YOUR MONEY IS FOR YOU! (and YOU alone!)

Need a loan? NEVER! EVERYTHING YOU 'need' is provided by everyone's 'employer', society/humanity.

Too tough to figure out? Turn in your voter card and smile, you no longer have to worry about anything.

Let the adults handle it.

Work won't change or go away. That much you can depend on if anything it will get 'easier' because the ONLY 'profit' any labor will result in is the betterment of society as a whole!

You will truly be 'free' if you will just agree to get the 'tyrants' off your back!

They're there because you've been taught they belong there...which is a LIE! They 'belong' at the bottom of the trench you're filling in along with everything else meaningless and useless.

Again I overload your processing power [which might be why none of you act on this information...regardless of how galling you find it.]

Well, if we were to band together under the banner of 'Humans first!' would that help?
