Greetings good citizen, just did some research on the mechanics of the prisoner's dilemma and found it to be less than useful. While it is obvious that we 'should be' better off if we cooperated with one another, we aren't in control of major variables so we are left playing 'go along to get along' until we don't.

While the prisoner's dilemma is understood to be about the 'sentencing game' it tells us little about the practical problem presented by those born in prison and rely on the jailers for EVERYTHING (because that's the REAL prisoner's dilemma!)

How do you escape the hand that feeds and clothes you?

YOU are such a 'prisoner'. Left to our own devices the vast majority of us would perish in a most gruesome manner [starvation is physically agonizing and even more difficult to 'witness'.]

So let's put the 'rugged individual myth' to rest. Our survival is predicated on cooperation and our subjugation also depends upon 'complicity' among the conspirators.

Neither can do it alone...although eventually one 'side' ends up holding all of the pieces. Doesn't matter which side because the conspirators share an identical goal of keeping the masses docile [via religion] and believing they are 'free'.

The prisoners condition themselves to accept the role they are given (because the alternative is death) and the conspirators (more commonly referred to as 'the lucky ones') keep 'trimming the slag' wherever they can. [Again I create my own term for the 'illusion sustaining material' our feeble efforts produce that we use to differentiate ourselves from one another.]

Carnys call it slum but it's the same difference. Slag is the by-product of the refining process, the part that is normally thrown away.

Yet we use it to disguise ourselves so we need not look in the mirror and accept that it is our own kind doing this to us. The worst of us use it to elevate themselves above the rest but here we return to the 'broken mind' syndrome that permeates society from top to bottom.

Jailer is a full time job and there is zero irony that the jailer is just as much a prisoner as the rest of us. Yet stupid keeps reporting to work and following the orders of his frustrated superiors never realizing he's on the inside of the same cesspool he maintains for his masters.

And Master? He isn't going anywhere either...which is why he is obsessed with heading off revolt. His 'favored' position depends on it and he has had time to consider what he'd do if he could get his hands on the people responsible for marooning him here.

He doesn't want those people getting their hands on him...

How's that for a 'shitshow in a bottle?'

Yet we face a different conundrum created by the mismanagement of the planets resources and the inevitable collapse of the old methods.

The jailers have to allow the prisoners more 'freedom' if the system is to avoid collapsing upon itself.

Sadly this is precisely what the jailers were taught to avoid, that their continued superiority depends on despair.

This, as history has demonstrated repeatedly, is the recipe for disaster...and collapse.

Have you come to the conclusion that YOU are NOT a prisoner? [Where do you 'think' you're going?] The inside of your head is all of the 'running room' you've got! Time to start treating this prison like the home it actually is!

And guess what else? You have to share it with everyone else here whether you like it or not!

Remember the REAL 'Prisoner's Dilemma' (comply or DIE!) You go along or you cease to be a factor!

Some of you would embrace the 'sweet release' of death but you can't help but wonder if maybe you're already there...

Greetings good citizen, today's title (like all titles) is a 'relative' one with individuals running the full spectrum when asked 'what do you hold sacred?'

Some people regard 'life' as sacred but they are consistently behind those whose number one 'holy of holies' is CASH [because money by itself is useless...especially 'traceable' money.]

Naturally, it doesn't stop there. There are those who hold their faith as sacred and those who believe nobody is more important in Heaven or on Earth than their ever so humble selves.

[Ironically it is these same people who worship the empty dollar. Who is to say how many 'gods' are 'too many'?]

Mr. Smarty Pants here doesn't even know where to begin to parse that one. Either way it is a self-inflicted wound.

Let me put my politician hat on and mount my trusty stump to proclaim [mostly to myself] that EDUCATION IS KEY!

For that crucial education we need only look at the headlines of the planet's capitalist news sources:

The muslim Taliban killed 240, er, 'infidels' in Afghanistan yesterday and we've had troops er, 'advisors' there for how long, almost 20 years!

Wow, somebody is being paid a lot for nothing! [Makes you wonder if the Chinese will suffer from the same problems?]

I know education is key but the mind is a sieve. Only the erudite will understand the reference.

Moving on, the Catholic church is still being rocked by sex scandals. Why does this 'surprise' anyone? This is the same church responsible for the DARK AGES and the subsequent CONSTITUTIONAL SEPARATION of Church and State! Before the Reformation it was the ONLY church! [and non-membership wasn't an option...]

It is here we encounter our original unanswerable question: Is there a difference between stupid and insane?

Is insanity really nothing more than a refusal to accept the obvious [fatal myopia?] (my way or the highway writ large?) [If I can make EVERYBODY believe it it's not insane, right...actually that ISN'T a question, more like the mental hiccup of a sick mind.]

So it is the militant Christians/white supremacists attempted to rally in the nation's capitol and other perceived 'liberal strongholds' across the nation and found itself seriously outnumbered by the humans again hatred crowd! [I LOVE people! Yay us!]

Sadly we can't congratulate ourselves and ignore the fact that we are both out-funded and outgunned (strangely thanks to the funds thing.)

Again I preach to the choir when a further go on to point out that this is also the reason the ballot box is broken.

We can OBJECT to our hearts content but in the end the ones with the guns make the rules...until we put a stop to that madness.

The LAW belongs to those who agree to abide by them. Not to the 'judges', not to the courts and not to badges/uniforms in their multitudes.

It is here that the 'tyrants' point at self rule and exclaim 'no rules except those YOU agree to! What kind of government is THAT?

Short answer...a JUST one!

Not only do the tyrants want to be 'in charge' of the rules creation process but they also have a compulsion to be in control of what passes for 'justice' because if they didn't control that the lot of them would be prosecuted for their crimes against humanity...

What's this got to do with Holy?

YOU make sure your kids are 'indoctrinated' (because if you don't the other kids will treat them like circus freaks when it's discovered they don't know who GOD is! Worse is explaining to your progeny that God (whose 'temples' are omnipresent) is the product of the feckless's imagination and that NOBODY has EVER seen this entity. Boy the other kids in school would have a party with that one, quoting from the bible and telling your now outcast children that they are 'sinners'! [Is there any greater crime than 'non-belief'?]

Seems the Talibs don't think so...

You see the 'magnitude' of the problem, don't you? [Is there a difference between stupid and insane?]

Sorry ladies but the Church relies on the MOTHER [In fact you can't be a jew if your mother wasn't jewish!]

Men are, er, 'more conflicted' when it comes to 'supreme beings'. Men secretly believe if they can land the first blow they can probably take the sucka but women, wired differently, seem to accept this 'concept' more readily. [Probably after a lifetime of having their ass kicked by angry, petulant boy-men.]

Bizarrely, women believe God is going to 'avenge' them, if not now, after death...which returns us to the question: Is there a difference between stupid and insane?

[If 'it' (stupid) weren't so prevalent I wouldn't keep pointing at it! It's degrading besides being a victim too.]

Sadly, we find ourselves neck deep in stupid and it seems to be getting deeper as the rhetoric accelerates.

The madness stops if we free our minds from the garbage dumped there to 'control' us.

Most of us are pretty bright if given a chance [I can only hope that this assessment isn't overly optimistic.]

Greetings good citizen, if they aren't trying to remove the 'human factor' from combat they are on an endless quest to seize the 'high ground' before 'somebody else' does.

Once again we are confronted with the question of 'who' (specifically) because the number of nation states with active space programs is growing and we can only wonder why?

Do we really need six missions to Mars? Who got there first and will they 'lay claim' to a significant portion of Martian 'real estate' even if they aren't the first ones to send colonists? [Who are likely going to perish due to overlong supply lines and the threat of earth bound intrigues, nevermind the challenges of surviving in a totally hostile alien environment.]

There is strong evidence that Earth was 'terraformed' specifically for us and the lifeforms we rely.

Newsflash for the intellectually challenged, you CAN'T terraform a planet that has no atmosphere (by virtue that it also lacks a 'magnetosphere')

But the multiple [wasteful] space programs are being used as an an excuse to 'militarize' Space.

Do you know the ONLY reason there [at least we hope there isn't] a Death Star like platform orbiting Earth already?

Because if there were such a weapon in orbit, under the command of the criminals, monarchy would have reasserted itself...AND the resultant bloodbath on the ground would have rendered the 'killer satellite' useless.

You [the general public] are already hopelessly outgunned but the psychologically damaged believe there is no such thing as being 'too safe' even if it means inciting enough fear to cause civilization ending riots in a futile attempt to seize the 'high ground'.

Again we ask where is the media because there are treaties that specifically forbade the militarization of space...but the conservo WHACKOS are running things and once again there is no bridge too far when it comes to military supremacy...

Yup can't have enough guns and god! [Hell, god invented guns so we could protect him and his righteousness..and defend ourselves against the 'unbelievers!']

And now you know why the 'superstitious peasants' cling so desperately to their guns.

But I digress, the issue is 'guns in space' [or are we really making Space safe for God (before that rascal Allah sneaks up there!)

Because you know dem 'terrerists' is EVERYWHERE and they hate our FREEDOM [To worship the almighty (buck)] the way we sees fit!

The rest of us want guns 'handy' against the day the religious crackpots decide god wants them to 'cleanse the Earth' of the unbelievers.

Greetings good citizen, the landscape is shifting and this has some disturbing implications. No, it's not the political landscape, that remains the same hot mess it's evolved into, this new problem is right here in the blogosphere.

All of my indicators have stopped working. Somewhat like the primary reason for blogging, to spark intellectual debate is useless because comments either aren't working or NONE of you hold (or possess the ability to defend) a different opinion.

Considering World Peace hasn't broken out due to this odd outbreak of persistent silence the only reasonable assumption is mechanical failure/manipulation.

Those of you just frothing at the mouth to give me a piece of your mind are being prevented from doing so because Big Brother has taken away the stage that discourse would play out on.

Stop for a moment and consider what being 'a bug in a jar' must feel like? You don't get to discuss ideas, making people question their beliefs is the quickest way to become an outcast, then you'll end up like me, blogging to myself in obscurity.

Somewhat weird to consider that for four years I have been writing a personal journal addressed to the English speaking world and the only one actually reading it is me.

Dunno if it is the spiders or my 'handlers' that throw me the occasional +1 but once again my indicator shows followers resolutely stuck on 0.

Still the lack of questions makes me doubt there's anybody out there or that my now approaching 50,000 page views has any basis in reality unless it registers a hit every time someone looks up a conjunction.

Back in the wild days of the blogosphere there were pages and pages of people rebutting one another's positions but now, not even crickets chirping. Only this deafening silence. Not just here, everywhere.

[This post is being brought to you by a dramatic drop in readership over the past week, seems they can 'squelch' the count to whatever they want it to read and mine is lower for reasons that aren't quite clear. (I suspect the number of spiders has dropped)]

Regardless of the cause, this means we have a different problem on our hands. 'Dialog' has been removed by those who control the interwebs. If it is not in an e-mail [isn't it curious that 'our revolution' uses servers that don't accept responses] blogs have become soapboxes from which to 'pontificate' from.

I'm not here to indoctrinate anyone. Teach yes and to debate and defend my ideas but that's a little difficult to do alone, you see the only other guy here agrees with me every step of the way.

Someone out there believes if there were only 'one message' [and that message was a 'happy' one] that we'd all be less dissatisfied with our...(don't you hate it when people use this term because it legitimizes 'predestination', that certain things are 'inevitable'...) 'lot in life'.

That's what THEY are trying to convince YOU of, that your miserable circumstances are 'unavoidable' and that you should just suck it up and suffer silently rather than harsh anyone else's mellow.

[Remember the feckless few? They are just going to keep taking what YOU need to enjoy a better life so their life won't suck. Why don't you just accept the 'inevitable' [and lynch the mother fucka!] and 'accept' your doom?

But no, instead they don't want YOU thinking life could be better or more because both of those beliefs lead to 'less for them'. [And believe me when I tell ya they aren't happy with all of the loot they took from you (because they spend their days fretting over their comeuppance, which they are convinced will be brutal beyond imagining...as it should be.)]

Yeah, crime just does not pay (not that it ever stopped anybody.)

Criminals do what criminals do and we shouldn't be surprised when they do it. [That said, we should show them the door when they demonstrate their callous disregard for the benefits of civil society! (But the criminals in our case are in charge of the 'injustice system' so that needs to be purged first!)]

Now there are rabid opponents to the death penalty and it is likely those same people would get their underwear in a bunch over the idea of exiling people since modern exile is a death sentence because thieves won't cooperate with one another, everything is a competition to them!

So where's the 'debate' (or agreement!) because we aren't seeing either.

Did 'don't feed the trolls' become the mantra of the internet generation? [Because if it did then nobody thought about the deadlier silence this breeds {if you didn't have fools like me having these arguments with themselves!}]

Greetings good citizen, as record heat drives wildfires around the globe we would do well to remember that civilization is only nine meals deep. Three consecutive days without food tears the veneer of civilization and anything even resembling civility completely off.

Naturally it is the destitute that will cross this barrier first (and repeatedly) while the psychopaths hoard what little is left 'for an emergency'.

Man's inhumanity is and will always be legendary...no need to go there but the driver of this situation is worth visiting because it is short-sheeting 99% of us.

Probably don't even need to spell it out for you either, you already know what I'm pointing at without my typing the 'C' word, don't you?

What rankles more? the hierarchy that has more to do with who is related to whom or the absurd amounts paid to the absolutely talentless solely because of who sired them.

While we all point to the rich-poor divide isn't the real issue the rulers vs the subjects?

No? We rejected 'the rulers' a long time ago...you don't say?

What a fool believes! Bizarrely the same fools believe the 'Magna Carta' [all 4 of them] lasted longer than two minutes after the 'nobles' left the room.

Worse, today's fool remains unaware that the Patriot act stripped them of those ancient protections and our feckless politicians didn't even read it first! [Representation at it's finest, eh?]

So, who among you still believes 'the rulers' are long gone?

In as much as you will never see one walking down the street with their 'honor guard' [that's what motorcades are for!] they have learned their lesson about not providing their victims with a target.

So we pretend to elect 'leaders' and they pretend to govern us, albeit weirdly.

A puppet is still a puppet and if the puppeteer is mad all you can do is sit back and watch the show, the puppeteer remains in charge.

Do I need to draw the line pointing at you in this kabuki dance?

Send all you want, this system only dispenses, it doesn't accept 'feedback'.

The collective 'we' are living under the 'there ain't no highway, only 'my way' (and if my way runs civilization off a cliff, oh well.)

Human history is drenched in blood but we have never succeeded in defeating our real 'nemesis', the ruler.

Worse, we fight each other solely so we won't combine forces and fight, er, 'it'.

The part that should be giving you cotton-mouth is they still think of us as 'property' (disposable any way they wish.)

Once civilization reaches a tipping point our 'rulers' feel compelled to tamp down the threat presented by an out of control population.

WWI followed almost immediately by WWII and an unbroken string of 'brushfire' wars since the 'discovery' of nuclear weapons. [We've all heard the stories but sorting out the lies from the facts is next to impossible considering how deft they are at 'misleading' us.]

Not to be confused with how easily cozened we all are.

This is why we need to unite for humanity's future, fail to do this and there won't be one [as our children are now realizing and guess who they blame for this MOM & DAD...

Greetings good citizen, seems some readers are upset with the new titling discipline but that's on them (if you're never going to act then stop wasting your time...and mine!)

In Genius one we spotlighted the heart of the problem, our pirated legal system. In Genius two we laid the foundation and rough framed the working parameters. Genius 3 circles back to the beginning where I remind you this is a roadmap and not just some Toastmasters speech.

If you think revolt is impossible then you have already surrendered without a struggle (and welcome what comes next!) [You're supposed to grab the lifeline before you go under!] But the infotainment fools tricked you into believing there was nothing to be alarmed about and now your children are all dead because of you.

I know they are standing in front of you but look a little closer, they've all been zombified. They have no future and neither will their children, the few that have any.

I can't do this alone but it seems your kids are following YOUR lead. They are watching you ignore me and they are ignoring the life line that represents their only chance at escaping YOUR FATE!

[We've been 'marching in place' for so long we no longer know what 'progress' looks like. Many have never felt the breeze of different caressing their faces (so this is what 'new' feels like!)]

One of the other 'distinctions' that need to be made is difference between 'POINTING AT STUPID' and actually being incapable of rational thought.

Most of you are simply 'ignorant' and suffer the misinformation your head was jammed with not to enlighten you but to confuse you. Those who are confused about right and wrong are much easier to swindle than those who have a clear understanding of 'moral obligation'.

We have become a society that owes its members nothing, a society that snubs members too weak to steal for themselves what we ALL need to live.

This is not genius, this is fact but it must appear like something else to your glazed over eyes and the mud filled spot where you used to keep your heart.

Mankind the giant is still an infant whose pieces haven't yet learned to cooperate with one another (and is incapable of maturing until this crucial landmark is achieved.)

We will never become 'more' if the pieces continue to prey upon one another needlessly.

Our 'aimlessness' is self-induced. We have a purpose and we can only do it together, alone we will fail.

United we stand, divided we're food.

Greetings good citizen, there are many aspects/fragments of society and genius is no different. In yesterday's installment we laid the 'foundation' of new society salvaged from the molting corpse of the established one.

Since the focus of a new society is EQUALITY with justice for ALL the first step towards achieving those goals would be trashing the primary impediments to both and that is the 'entrenched' injustice system and it's patronage riddled support system.

Once the legal system is overhauled by the 'new constitution' (A Simple Plan) Money will be returned to its 'intended purpose' of regulating access to that which is scarce or perishable.

YOU, good citizen will no longer be held hostage by those whose only aim is to profit from your misery accumulating more money than they'll ever need via their false claim of 'ownership' of what belongs to all of us.

I CAN'T own 500 miles? Nope, you (nor anyone else) are expressly forbidden from claiming the ownership of anything, including your progeny! Your kids are born members of society and their life/mind isn't yours to corrupt!

Besides, YOU don't need to own ANYTHING, you just need to have the use of them...and that's what will replace 'ownership', Registered Users.

Being in the possession of major items not registered to you is an exile offense. [You're not going to get exiled if your kid's friend forgets their toy at your place...but if it turns out the item is registered to someone that has reported it stolen then we have an entirely different situation on our hands.]

Unlike 'ownership' where it's only yours until it isn't (thanks to a decidedly corrupt legal system) Userdom is legally stronger. Your usership ends when you die or when the item no longer suits your circumstances.

When work/life takes you from Chicago to St. Louis your Chi-town digs are remanded to 'relocation' and St. Lou will find you suitable new accomodations. None of this costs YOU (or anyone else for that matter) a solitary cent.

Hell, you don't even need to hire a mover, 'relocation' insures the items registered to you follow you to your new home. Now some of your old stuff may not 'work' in the new house so you will be able to 'remodel', leaving your used stuff (to be recycled) in Chicago and getting new stuff in St. Louis.

Um, 'new' can be 'lightly used' as recycling will be a key part of the new non-combat employment picture. [All 'hygienic' surfaces will be replaced with new, the 'war on germs' is neverending!]

The watchword of our fledgling civilization will be 'responsible' [and not taking it for granted that someone else will clean up after us.]

That's where throwing stuff into the nearest body of water came from, the actions of the irresponsible. If you can't see it, it's disposed of. Naturally this was due to people wanted to be paid for letting your cast-offs decay on their property...which is why nobody can own any! We can't afford to wait for stuff to rot on perfectly usable land. [Especially when most of it can be recycled/repurposed!]

How much of what is inflicted upon us is ignorance and how much is pure evil is debatable, what isn't is how much longer we should put up with this treatment?

Understand, your possessions under the current 'ownership' model are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Under the registered user model they are tended to in a timely fashion by a labor hungry society. [Everybody works for a paycheck...and EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE MAKES!] (Death to the 'pretenders'!)

Why isn't anybody 'salvaging' the huge islands of plastic floating in the world's oceans? Because it's not 'profitable'.

Naturally that's just stupid talking. Remove money from the equation and shazam, the NEED to get that junk out of the ocean before it contaminates the entire food chain becomes a damn good motivator!

Are we going to exile you for tossing your plastic water bottle into the ocean? Probably, a feckless asshole is still an asshole. Our new society is somewhat militant on the issue.

It is your thoughtfulness that will open doors for you in the future. [Because those who would 'buy' your complicity don't have YOUR best interests in mind...and once you agree to keep silent you are just as guilty as the criminal!]

Which is to point out that you have committed a crime and gleaned no benefit from it. [How stupid is that?]

Stupid isn't the prize anyone strives to win yet it is the universal reward of the 'trusting'. [Attribution damn it! If you steal this you crumb make sure you tell them you stole it from Gegner!]

While everything has 'contingencies' we can crack this nut if we stick to 'basics'.

Let's start with admitting we probably were born/created as slaves with color added so massa could tell which ones were theirs.

We can also take it for granted that once they had what they created us for we were abandoned in place and left to our own...er, 'devices' with 'old habits' dying particularly hard. [They should never have abandoned the 'trustys' because they are the ones behind the '2nd coming' which ain't gonna happen because this place is devoid of whatever they came here for.]

Stupid keeps 'the dream' (of being reunited with the overlords and restored to their positions of power) alive.

As readership sinks [likely because I hit the 'stupid button' a bit too frequently for the 'sensitive] I opine that any honest discussion must be centered on this pervasive fact. That either through self delusion or cowardice the people of our society have chosen to let themselves and their children be rolled by the feckless (albeit deeply entrenched) few.

Even the most cowardly among you must admit that the situation is completely out of hand and a major shift is in the not too distant future.

With billions of lives at stake is all you can say is 'better them than me?'

Again, not necessarily a contender for a Nobel but like stupid, honesty is its own reward...
