Greetings good citizen, the 'crazy train' is nothing new, every day we are, er, 'treated' to some new revelation that makes us wonder what those in charge are thinking [or not, depending on the circumstances.]
Again I remind you that 'they' control the media thus you are told what you're told 'for a reason'.
The latest issue to be giving humanity a 'spontaneous wedgie' is the alleged surge in 'Nationalism' [read nostalgia for the old days, back to when the current crop of septuagenarians 'understood' a world that no longer makes any sense to them.
Ironically, the term for this, er, 'disorder' was coined back in the early Seventies, they called it 'Future-Shock'.
Has the WORLD changed? Somewhat, not in substance but in essence.
What people long for is 'familiarity', today's world feels 'alien' to them. Part of this is due to the intentional pushing of humanity's 'comfort zones'.
Who is pushing it? The same people who ALWAYS push it. WHY are they pushing it? To create precisely the discomfort, the confusion that comes with change.
People like, perhaps even CRAVE 'normalcy' [even if normal is crushing poverty!] Pushing people out of their comfort zones [the realm of what they have become 'familiar with' within reasonable expectations] creates uncertainty...and it is within this 'environment of uncertainty' that change becomes acceptable.
So the recent, er, 'upsurge' in nationalism is in reality a craving/desire to return to a world that makes 'sense' to them.
They intellectually understand that [faulty] modern ideology has shifted civilization from the 'tried & true' and placed it in jeopardy by ignoring the hard reality of preparedness.
Another 'shift' ushered in by the Reagan Revolution [actually the worldwide victory of conservatism] was the 'War on redundancy'.
We no longer have 'back-up'...pretty much anything. It got to the point where people started being tossed into the street due to 'redundancy'...and it wasn't the most qualified that, er, persevered. It was those deemed most likely to keep their mouths shut that won the contested position.
'For want of a nail' is still a VERY REAL threat. Why is it our 'Strong on Defense' conserve-whackos turned a blind eye to the offshoring off our defensive manufacturing capabilities?
It is time to point to the 'neck-deep in stupid conundrum' again?
Those in charge [the ones responsible for these changes] aren't concerned. They don't need to fight us if they can 'starve us out.'
The food supply has been 'globalized', a net positive. World wide food exchange has existed for as long as we have been capable of reaching foreign lands, it improved and grew geometrically when food sprouted 'wings'.
The hand wavers want you looking at electric ground transportation but there aren't any electric flying transports.
So when fossil fuels are exhausted guess which 'supply line' will collapse, [catastrophically I might add?]
Mag-Lev trains may cobble together enough of a network to preserve some semblance of a year round food supply but today's fly everywhere because we can will cease if we fail to crack the secret of gravity.
I suppose NOW wouldn't be a good time to mention that RESEARCH into this technology is non-existent BECAUSE it would infringe on the 'profitability' of the fossil fuel industry...isn't capitalism GREAT? [The Donald thinks so!]
But you knew that, right? We have 'next gen' phones like clockwork [where the real 'improvements' are transparent to the user. you don't care how 'accurately' your new phone can track you...or record and transmit what you're up to.] It's that new AI you want, it has the silliest answers to your improbable questions as it compiles a profile on you at the behest of its manufacturer. It's a profile that COULD land you on a no-fly list or cost you a promotion/new job. [Let's not FORGET, with the permanent suspension of Habeas Corpus, your new toy might get you disappeared into the new 'gulag system'.]
THAT'S what 'new & improved' technology does today! [It is also the driving force behind the 'simpleton movement' to turn back the hands of time they are calling 'nationalism'.]
Um, more than meets the eye good citizen, you really need to be on your toes...all the time!
I'm still calling for a strike...if anybody is interested in saving humanity from the thieves that run things. Just an idea. They won't stop stealing until we stop giving them stuff to take from us. [Especially now when they only 'pretend' to pay us for it!]
[Remember, if you can't live on what they pay you it's NOT THEIR PROBLEM, its YOURS!]
Thanks for letting me inside your head,
