Reality

Greetings good citizen, every once in a while the capitalist-communist divide is resurrected and usually the diggers point to the string of failed communist states as proof of concept when Marx didn't put forth a plan such as A Simple Plan, my design.

[Marx treated money like it was real and not the 'legal lie' it is. In this he is forgiven because the feckless capitalists he was dissecting treats money as an objective rather than an idea...and denying the 'reality' of money would have cost him his credibility, ironically, in the eyes of the 'God Fearing'.]

Money is NOT the 'goal of commerce': money is the goal of the grifter. When they started lending money, turning it into a 'business', they defeated 'the purpose of money'.

So the banker is actually a grifter, making money from that which produces nothing.

Under ASP the ONLY way to get money is to work for it...thus is a job (a vehicle by which the individual 'participates' in society) is guaranteed and there is NO SHORTAGE of things that need doing even after we wipe out (as in abolish) the banking, insurance and legal industries. [When added together these industries create a huge economic sinkhole that productive industries can't backfill regardless of how hard they try!

In case you are wondering, politicians fall under the 'legal' category. You will no longer vote for somebody to do what you are perfectly capable of doing yourself. Nor will you be, er, 'penalized' (taxed) to pay for this, er, 'disservice'.

Without banking, real estate will come under the purview of housing and relocation, as individuals will no longer be required to buy shelter. Housing, suitable to your circumstances, are your RIGHT!

Why play with money at all? Supply and demand. Remove the 'regulating effect' of money and we'd all go on a 'prime cut only' diet! The problem with this is there are only so many prime cuts per animal. What do you do with the parts the other mimics used to eat that nobody wants anymore?

We can't all wear silk suits all the time either thus will prices regulate consumption...and 'accident of birth' no longer dictate 'privilege' because EVERYBODY'S bank account is ZEROED when they die and there is no way to transfer wealth between individuals.

To even claim to have such a 'tool' is an exile offence. [But don't worry, if you want one there will be those willing to provide you with one but be forewarned that these same chislers will claim YOU forced them to give you what you wanted...not that it will save them but that's a fight you can have once you arrive at the banishment grounds.]

Opportunists, even reckless ones, will ALWAYS be with us.

As I comment in yesterday's post, capitalism is producing poverty on a scale heretofore unimagined. [It' worse than it's EVER been!]

How troubled are you that (from today's article) one of Reagan's contemporaries opined that there 'wasn't an alternative'?

The 'conservo-whacko' actually believes this mostly because they need to believe money is concrete when, in reality, it's not even silly putty.

How happy would you be if I told you money is a 'close cousin' of what you extrude from your butthole?

Work was intended to make EVERYBODY'S life 'easier' but the morons running today's society have a fetish for punishing those they view as 'uncooperative', ruining lives in the process. [Which demonstrates the need to block the stupid from positions of authority/responsibility. A situation the tests are intended to deal with because the tests measure your knowledge AND your character! You can run but you can't hide...]

After your first promotion you will also be 'judged' on your track record. If YOU abuse/overstep your authority you will be replaced but there is the possibility of redemption in the peer review portion of the judging [because most candidates will/should 'tie' academically. Other factors such as attendance and performance will be used to assess a candidates fitness for greater responsibility.]

Did I mention there is an 'alternative' to feckless capitalism?

Do YOU feel better know it has systems to manage even the little things? Do you think/believe the capitalist even give a F what you think? They don't because they don't understand the 'purpose of commerce' as evidenced by the way they (mis)manage it.

Marx was right, Smith was wrong and Hamilton was murdered for good reason [although his death wasn't due to his outlandish ideas that plague us to this day!]

Today's link points directly at the real question facing society: how bad does it have to get before we change the way we run things?

And the answer is?

Thanks once again for stopping by and opening your mind (assuming you still have one...)

Demographics

Greetings good citizen, yesterday I drew attention to how the, er, 'quality of life' had taken on an entirely different,um, 'texture' than it had a hundred years ago. Things have changed but those who move society haven't.

Thus the old song, "One step up and two steps back..."

While fear is the principle defense of this inbred reluctance to break with the past it eventually becomes comply or collapse because certain changes can't be resisted. [Overpopulation can't be 'safely' ignored.]

Thus do we embrace the 'Thannos solution' (of mass genocide) all so 'a few' can be rich.

Anyone else see the elephant in the room? [Hint: it's my favorite target!]

What is charging at our civilization (and has been for the past two decades) is the confrontation between our rudderless youth and their scared spitless parents that rolled over and played dead when they should have fought like caged animals when their future was placed in containers and shipped overseas. [Energy crisis my ass!]

The Occupy generation has no future and the Boomers stood there with their hands in their pockets while the feckless stripmined their retirement.

The feckless few will soon join their 'spoils' halfway around the planet, leaving the expectant boomers to discover they are hold an empty bag handed to them by Franklin Roosevelt. These clueless dolts will look to their kids for a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs and find that bag empty too.

Oh what to do when the feckless, who bought government out from under us [with funny money and useless stock options no less] and exported the future to the bankster created 'cheaper there' for their kids to exploit?

Um, the 'demographics don't look pretty good citizen and the (planet-wide) 'refugee crisis' is being driven by the 'grand theft economic' outlined in the above paragraph.

What really should have alarmed the average citizen is the feckless's obsession with 'secrecy'. Only rogues and scoundrels need to operate in the dark.

When the public's need to know is trumped by the feckless's need to escape prosecution well, what can you do?

First step is to put down that dog that refused to hunt. Once it loses its edge it's no good anymore.

Then we need to turn back the clock and do what should have been done centuries ago, end 'slavery'.

Abolish banking and the ephemeral (at best) 'stock market' and return money to its original purpose and that purpose is to allow the individual to specialize. [Without specialization, society cannot advance without specialization but it is also held in check by the actions of the feckless, who use money to enrich themselves at the expense of the producers.

Funny how this 'they won't even miss it' attitude has produced poverty on a scale unheard of under simpler economic models.

Nothing is more frightening to me than being told [screamed at actually] to 'get a job' by people who work jobs they themselves can't live on.

Sort of redefines STUPID.

You all know the economy is broken, I tell you all the time. Your kids live at home because they can't afford to pay rent AND eat...and keep wheels under their ass so they can go work jobs that don't pay them enough to live on.

Foolishly you believe you did this to yourself but that isn't true. It was done to you by the thieves that run the banking industry! [20 of the 30 Dow-Jones industrials are BANKS...what's 'wrong' with this picture? [or are you TOO STUPID to figure this out...]

The stock market need to go 'poof', the banks need to close and money, as it has existed to date, needs to be outlawed. [Keep your cash, it's still 'collectable' (like a beany baby that you can't sell because that's NOT WHAT MONEY IS FOR!

We all know people can be incredibly stupid when their economic well-being depends on it. It's precisely how we got where we are.

If you want to see tomorrow (and the possibility that your kids will survive until next week) we have to make this happen...NOW!

Forget your pension and your SSI, those are both gone and you did nothing to stop it!

If we are to survive this as a viable species you need to take action...

Thanks for stopping by and opening your mind,

Mission

Greetings good citizen, it is the aim of politics to pacify the populace while the self-interested milk and bilk them for everything they are worth.

Difficult to find a more blunt assessment but it is also rare to find a more honest one.

A whole generation has been born/come of voting age that is totally ignorant that things weren't always like this and it is only now as the 'boomers' are headed off-stage that they have suddenly come to realize what a mess they left for their children to clean up.

Worse, we left them with no tools with which to rebuild.

Watching the Libertarian (a Republican that thinks other Republicans are stupid) last night and the discussion turned to 'better Angels'.

Funny how the first guest is always somebody pimping their book and last night's celebrity author was Jon Meacham, pimping his latest book of the same title, something about America's Better Angels. [I have little patience with people that use the term that applies to the entire Western Hemisphere despite it is precisely this laziness that has lead most of us to refer to ourselves as Americans as opposed to what we really are, as unflattering as that is. [Zero irony that they both begin with A...]

Mr. Meacham began his synopsis with a march through presidential history and it's probably why my mind is 'defective' because they were much different people than we are.

Your Great Grandfather could shoe a horse using nothing but his hunting knife and a rock. He could also hunt, kill, dress and cook nature's bounty over an open flame with no middle men involved.

YOU know what pokemon can counteract a Snorelax attack.

You may have gone hunting with your grandpa but if you don't live out in the boondocks the closest you've come to encountering wildlife is a chance encounter with a skunk [despite shitting your britches every time you have to take the trash out at night after the news reports a local coyote sighting.]

If you do eventually kill a deer it will probably be with your car and you will most likely be (at least modestly) 'under the influence'.

Um, should you find yourself in this position and the vehicle isn't totaled, you'll drive away leaving the corpse for 'scavengers'. [You don't know how to skin. dress or rend a deer into it's proper cuts.]

You also know there isn't a pokemon (or a magic card for that matter) that will do the task for you. While video games are increasingly more 'gorey' [this is in lockstep with cinema/CGI] there isn't one that teaches you how to properly skin and dress an animal [or requires this as part of game play...although it won't be long now, will it?]

Still, the point is we are much different people than the ones that broke free from the tyrannical church of the poisoned mind a thousand years ago.

While we have, er, 'abandoned' many unnecessary life skills during the most recent phase of returning to 'civilized life' [weirdly referred to as 'the dream' (of 'self-sufficiency')] I guess you're not supposed to ask how supermarkets fit into the equation of freedom and independence except that it liberates you from the necessity of having to chase your next meal down and killing it with a stick...]

Without a 'purpose', what kind of 'life' are you supposed to build for yourself? You may want to join the feckless on their one-way suicide mission to Mars but we are literally generations away reaching the nearest habitable planet much less conquering it.

Will 'we' survive the 'meantime'?

[Not with the feckless leading us...]

So what do you suppose 'the mission' is?

Thanks once again for letting me inside YOUR mind!

Fabricating

Greetings good citizen, life without lies would be brutal indeed but for, er, 'kindness' to succeed it needs to be subtle...and not 180 degrees from the truth or it comes across as sarcasm of the biting variety.

Most of us are quite aware that we aren't perfect but no one appreciates their shortcomings dissected in public, much less having to defend themselves or their fractures even under the best of circumstances.

So it is here we encounter the 'fabricator' who, er, 'embellishes' the facts in an attempt to make them less damning. Is anyone surprised the impressed with himself President who surrounded himself with the 'best people' continues to be revealed as a liar (although in light of the FBI raid on Cohen's office, now the ledgers are in their hands so the truth was bound to come out.) 'America's mayor' did the prudent thing and got out ahead of the revelation that Mr. Cohen didn't act magnanimously on the behalf of the pussy-grabber-in-chief.

[Um, for those of you afflicted by the 'brain cloud', Rudy Giuliani was the mayor of NYC when 9/11 hit, and his, er, 'heroic' handling of the tragedy got him branded with the title which he likes to be known by. Um, he liked his moment of fame so much that it caused him to make a run at the White House against W. but we know how that turned out...because we're still there and burrowing ever deeper 18 years later.]

How fortunate is it for the feckless that they aren't held accountable for their recklessness [because they 'own' what passes for justice around here?]

Makes you wonder who they are going to thrown under the bus so they can pretend to restore the public's confidence in the 'injustice system'?

If there is one thing people are fed up with it's the incompetence on display whether it be the local PD that seems to have forgot why it exists to the patronage seats on the Supreme Court, which exists solely as the 'ultimate veto' for reining in excess whenever it conflicts with the patron's will.

How pathetic is it that the public believes the Supreme court exists to obstruct justice?

[No such thing as a Supreme court or a judge for that matter under A Simple Plan because the public is correct, both exist to serve 'injustice'.]

But I digress (although the line separating lies and liars is mighty thin.)

Part of 'the human condition' is camouflaging the distasteful, like the 'winners & losers', er, 'paradox' (so dubbed because the F'n cheaters/ 'fairness is for chumps' crowd don't want to admit it's their fault!)

Hard to differentiate between lies intended to 'cushion the truth' and those told to protect the guilty but yes, Virginia, there is a difference and that difference is critical. It's the difference between honesty and treason.

If we consider how distant we are from the purpose of existence (more than a little bit disconcerting that the official reason we exist is to make more of us in a world overrun with people we have no 'use' for...) and our 'refusal' to correct this um, phenomenon...

Like Social Security [which the filthy rich regard as 'theft' but they are morons so what can you expect?] our so-called leaders treat the over population crisis as a political 'third rail'.

So it is 'denial' at the pinnacle of our top-down society is running our species headlong into, er, catastrophe. We MIGHT succeed in joining the 99% of already extinct species but humanity has a certain 'resilience' to it.

Um, if I'm right we don't need to 'worry' about humanity disappearing from the cosmos, chances are more than excellent the cosmos is lousy with humans.

Which won't be a problem unless they, like us, are 'ignorant' of one another.

This is where the lies come back to bite you on the backside. If we are an outpost of a larger human empire, why hide it? [Brings us full circle to the insane asylum hypothesis OR we're somebody's 'lab rats'...or both.]

If we don't want this petri dish we call life scrubbed clean and the file closed with the label 'failed' across the front we had best start showing some 'initiative' [like electing competent leadership...which isn't possible. Leadership is a developed quality of proven competence and a track record of prudent decision-making and effective, holistic problem solving more so than simply being 'charismatic'...[or the lesser of two idiots/evils.]

Oftentimes the candidates choice of which problem to tackle will, by itself, demonstrate their competence to lead.

But I speak of a sane world that values equality and justice along with wisdom and virtue...[and all the rest of that 'sissy stuff'.]

It is also a world that doesn't tolerate fools/brutes. If you lack the mental horsepower to lead, stay out of the arena or your membership in society will be forfeit.

That's the writing on the wall for those currently clinging to privilege through their ownership of justice.

The life you lead is one enormous lie, thanks to the feckless and the outhouse they have built (for the rest of us) over the centuries.

Um, nobody is anxious to learn why or if the aliens are 'friendly' but you can bet they're keeping their distance until we get our house in order...(remember what I said about why I end these when I do?)

Well, thanks for letting me inside YOUR mind!

Animal

Greetings good citizen, this is one of the rare instances in your long and dreary life where you are regarded as being more than just another 'mindless beast' to be subjugated by some thankless oaf.

I welcome you because I believe you have the mental capacity to understand the concepts I put forth FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION [a 'courtesy' most others don't afford you because your 'input' isn't welcome] NOTHING rankles me more than the, er, unsolicited proclamations produced by the folks mounting their own personal crusade against the tyranny we have been subjected to since 'Morning in America'.

How tragic this crusade [where your support is assumed] is like the original constitutional convention, an 'invitation only', behind closed doors, members only Movement. Can't have 'our revolution' tainted by the values of the very people we expect to die in it, now can we? Even when they issue 'platform statements' they say NOTHING about the problems facing the average citizen! [Everything would be just ducky if we could abolish the Electoral College! Our 'problems' go considerably deeper than what that band-aid will cover.]

We're being nickel and dimed to death and the ONLY solution to that problem is to reform the expense picture! [Free housing, free utilities, guaranteed jobs that pay a wage you really can live on!]

Why are the self-professed rebels challenging us to overthrow citizen's united? If that's the best they can come up with, they certainly don't deserve to be placed in the drivers seat!

Why do they do this? Because it's the oldest strategy in existence. Unite the dissatisfied behind a banner of 'token resistance'.

Citizen's united was enacted TO BE REPEALED, NOTHING will change (as long as we suffer the 'party system' to stand!) In this respect you are treated like a 'stupid animal' that doesn't appreciate the stakes.

A few posts ago I pointed out that it is our unique mind that sets us above the 'animal kingdom' (often used to justify savage behavior born of selfishness/single mindedness.)

Well if you're not using that unique mind then you are instantly demoted to the status of 'dumb animal'. Your instincts may serve you well but it is your intellect coupled with your ability to REFUSE that make you superior to the animals that act on instinct alone.

In the end it's all about 'choices', that's why the feckless do their damnedest to limit yours. Is this the kind of people you want in charge of civilization? Again, you are given only 'the illusion of choice' in this matter thanks largely to the party 'vetting' system and the 'pay to play' nature of electoral politics.

This has nothing to do with democracy and it most certainly doesn't protect individual 'freedom'. [But they justify this with the 'good of the many'.] I designed A Simple plan with the individual in mind. If it doesn't satisfy the individual, what good is it?

The, er, 'catch' is leveling the playing field. The feckless conspire to hold all the cards while 'promising' you fulfillment. I designed with the feckless holding none of the cards. All of 'the cards' remain beyond the feckless's reach. No cops, no judges, no lawyers [all so justice can truly be served BY THE SAME PEOPLE that commit to living under and not above the law!]

Depending on who you listen to, the principle difference between humans and animals is the ability to know 'right' from 'wrong'...our vaunted 'moral compass' if you will. [Ironic that this is the SAME tool they use to get you to fight their wars but note we didn't point to our much inflated intelligence, where we are regularly and routinely 'outsmarted' by just about everything on the food chain.

Our Revolution appeals to the not particularly intelligent by offering a path of 'minimal resistance'...which will do no one any good...except the feckless, for them nothing changes.

To the feckless you are a mindless animal, that's why they 'lure' you with 'passive resistance'.

To your credit, most of you haven't been taken in by the 'Our Revolutionaries' who seem to be trying to suck all of the wind out of the opposition via endless pleading for campaign contributions.

Funny how the hatred inspired by the 'party of the rich' is being used to fund their faux opposition, literally 'the dumb ones' in their tiny minds.

Probably worries them the effort isn't more successful. Most see through a 'revolution' that they had no hand in founding.

Worse is the blindness displayed by the leadership of the faux opposition. Carter DOUBLED the minimum wage, which was followed by a DECADE of devastating inflation as the clueless clawed back half again of the 'raises' they were forced to hand out during the post Depression Era tax increases.

What's Bernie's main campaign plank? Double the minimum wage!

Yes, good citizen, the 'prosperity' ushered in after Roosevelt hiked the marginal tax rate to 90% on all income over a million dollars caused/forced capitalists to establish pension funds and hand out pay increases rather than forking it over to the tax man...but YOU remain ignorant of that because Saint Ronnie gave the feckless ALL of their money back (and them some.)

Ignorance is costly and animals are dangerous...but the evidence tells us that humans are the most dangerous of all.

Just because they treat you like a 'dumb animal' doesn't make you one...and that 'trust' thing has ALWAYS been a 'two-way street'...and I KNOW you're picking up what I'm laying down here.

Can't trust 'em as far as you can throw 'em...

Thanks for letting me inside your mind,

Reflections

Greetings good citizen, there is a considerable amount of quibbling over the concepts we see floated in the media. If the idea is distasteful its proponents will defend their act with such arguments as moving the audience outside their comfort zone [supposedly for their own good.]

While Europeans think US films are 'unrealistic' because overwhelmingly the, er, 'good guys' pull off an impossible victory resulting in fairy tale Happy Endings pretty much EVERY time. [Which does tend to sour one on the genre, especially one where the protagonist doesn't shoot the bad guy when s/he has a chance to, but even we who are routinely subjected to such tripe know this is just setting up the 'superhero finale' and the Europeans are right, it gets old.]

So it is we have the ending of Infinity War, spoiler alert if you haven't seen it save your money. The movie is very entertaining BUT THE ENDING SUCKS!

I'm not going to go into specifics, it's the premise itself that insulted me.

The unexplained centerpiece of this entire series is 'overpopulation', which is kind of screwed up in a situation where 'resources' are indeed set to 'infinity'.

The antagonist embarks on a mission to collect the Infinity Stones so he can 'rightsize' the universe's population, which he opines needs to be reduced by 50%.

Thannos 'purpose' of uniting the infinity stones is only hinted at in the prior movies, it's not until Infinity War that we learn what his goal is, made that much worse by it being draped in 'nobility and selflessness'.

Where do YOU suppose THAT came from?

Let's assume it is NOT politically motivated and the Russo brothers actually believe our 'universe' is over populated. Is genocide really the answer? In the film's opening Thannos's soldiers slaughter the survivors of the destruction of Asgard because Loki smuggled the Tesseract onboard.

Do you suppose it was a 'coincidence' that they chose to display Thannos's motivation as an 'act of mercy'?

War without end, currently confined to the Middle East but it's drifting around the planet, is a synonym for Thannos's desire to 'balance' the universe simply by snapping his fingers. Unlike the film, the vanquished don't just dry up and blow away...and yeah, that's a spoiler.

This is a work of fiction but fiction is used all the time to float otherwise untenable ideas...like the existence of God. Why do you suppose with all of the incredible possibilities available to them the producers chose this particular theme?

Because it was 'relatable'? Understand for a space-faring race they don't have overpopulation problems because space travel is routine for them.

It seems finding planets capable of supporting life might be more difficult than the mathematics suggest but there is zero shortage of building materials.

Arable land would be conserved by building orbiting habitats which is to opine space stations would be the rule rather than the exception. [But that's using your head for more than a hat rack which the overseers dislike because it leads to questions and they hate questions almost as much as they loathe answering them.]

Questions like why do you suppose the Disney people chose over population, dealt with by genocide, as the theme for this film targeted at the millennials?

If you are/remain 'unaware' where these 'strange ideas' come from then you'll have no idea why poor white people spend two months pay on a semi-automatic rifle and go hunting whoever is unfortunate enough to cross their path... [the answer is the 'popular media', mostly music but influenced by gaming and comic mythology.]

You are/become what you 'believe'...

Which is to belabor the obvious, I'm not the only one entering your mind and playing with your conscious...

MayDay!

Greetings good citizen, how fitting is it that on this first day of the fifth month most commonly associated with a Distress Call the after effects of the TRILLION DOLLAR TAX CUT are conspicuous by their ABSENCE!

Is it just too soon to expect results? Are businesses getting ready to ramp up investment, so that we’ll see them laying out the big bucks in the near future? Not according to a survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. A vast majority of businesses say either that the tax law has had no effect on their investment plans, or that they are planning only a modest increase.

In short, the effects of the Trump tax cut are already looking like the effects of the Brownback tax cut in Kansas, the Bush tax cut and every other much-hyped tax cut of the past three decades: big talk, big promises, but no results aside from a swollen budget deficit.

You might think that the G.O.P. would eventually learn something from this experience, realize that tax cuts aren’t magical, and come up with some different ideas. But I guess it’s difficult for a man to understand something when his campaign contributions depend on his not understanding it.

Besides blowing huge holes in the federal budget [both Reagan and Bush both DOUBLED the deficit during their eight year long odyssey's occupying the White House with Clinton balancing the budget in between and leaving a small budget surplus that W spent the moment he was handed the keys to the oval office. [not that Clinton oversaw a booming economy, it was an unending rolling disaster from day one until it ended with the multi-trillion dollar GWOT.

Capitalism is tanking good citizen and it is taking ever larger amounts of funny money to keep it afloat.

Long past time to STOP THE NONSENSE!

IF WE DON'T REIN IN MONEY [NOW] IT WILL CAUSE A CRISIS THAT WILL WIPE OUT COMMERCE WORLDWIDE.

Not 'maybe' or 'might', the feckless WILL bring the economy to its knees if they remain unchecked.

Don't look now good citizen but THEY are in the driver's seat and none of them passed economics 101 as evidenced by their unfailing faith in the power of 'tax cuts'.

It is INSANITY to keep repeating the same behavior each time predicting the wrong results.

Worse, in a system that can't provide enough jobs for the people we already have they think the answer is replacing the customers that remain via AI!

Did I mention NONE Of them passed economics 101, which clearly states that commerce exists to provide the public with goods and services AS WELL AS THE MEANS TO OBTAIN THEM!

That means jobs but these morons only want to work one side of the equation [they are TOO STUPID to understand their employees are also their customers!]

SOMEHOW [Sadly the answer is STUPIDITY..although the broken educational system isn't helping] the college educated MORONS that are incapable of ending 'war without end' [ironically for the jobs it provides.] can't seem to figure out that money and the people mismanaging it are at the root of the problems facing society!

Thus is this an 'appropriate post' for today, MAYDAY!

The bad news is obvious, there isn't anybody to come save us. If we are to stop the madness we will have to do it ourselves.

Happy MayDay!
