Greetings good citizen, as the tax cutting Republicans Starting with Reagan and continuing right up to the Trump administration have repeatedly slashed taxes on those WHO NEEDED IT LEAST meanwhile the real global economy is collapsing due to a lack of customers! [The population continues to grow but the cost of living is growing faster and the tax cuts for the already rich just raise taxes/expenses on/for everyone else. [Sadly, this is tied directly to the stupidity factor; an indirect 'tax' on the rest of us caused by loosened educational standards...due to budget cuts caused by TAX CUTS FOR THE FECKLESS!]

How many of you know what 'crimes against humanity' are?

Should be a rhetorical question but we have been saying for years our 'elected leaders' don't listen to us, making them criminals from a dereliction of duty point of view.

The 'defense' for our politicians is they 'disagree' [in what passes for their hearts] with what the public wants and can't in good conscience take paychecks from the hardworking insurance industry [never-mind their generous campaign contributions] by supporting single payer healthcare...

The REASON we don't fight this is behavior is the vindictive way the feckless operate. If we MAKE THEM give us single payer it will be so overburdened with fees and forms it will turn out to be worse than doing nothing. [from the delivery of safe, effective and timely healthcare point of view.]

People who have a 'problem' with the smooth functioning of society WILL have their 'membership' revoked...which is to say they won't have to 'volunteer' for exile. [Those currently in office will have their necks stretched, free of charge!]

While my, er, 'viewpoint' is somewhat sterner, here's what Mr. Krugman has to say on the subject:

But there are also some new aspects to this latest money grab. This time around, much more clearly than before, the goal seems to be to favor wealth, especially inherited wealth, over work. And buried in the legislation are multiple measures that would make it much harder for the children of the middle and working classes to work their way up.

There is zero irony that none of this behavior is considered criminal since those proposing it are LAWMAKERS!

Those who must live under the law are the ones who should be making them...and then only after EVERYONE gets to vote on them!

We DON'T need those who WILL and HAVE sold the rest of us out to the highest bidder making laws for us that they specifically exempt themselves from!

In case you didn't know and most of you don't or heard but refused to believe it.

We live in a land ruled by criminals and if you don't like it, MOVE!

As an extension of yesterday's post let me point to who is behind the divisive media practices that are driving wedges between families and society alike? Wonder where all the crazed shooters are coming from? We need look no further than the hate spewing conservative media and their ceaseless yearning for some 'yesteryear' than NEVER EXISTED!

Greetings good citizen: Welcome to the 'big empty'. We will soon gather together with family and family-less friends to share the holidays and AVOID discussing the State of the Nation. Yup, at dinner tables across the nation the subject of the freak show that affects our everyday existence will be taboo.

Peace within the family comes at a terrible price, it produces worlds like the one we now live in.

It has an even more toxic effect of letting the psychopaths among us gain the upper hand when they should be shown the damn door.

Which is to point out that if Uncle Dick is a racist, bigoted, opinionated A-hole with teeth, the holiday doesn't A.) suddenly forgive him or B.) make him into a beloved member of a family that he openly HATES (any and all who disagree with him.)

This 'My way or the highway' attitude born of the employer class [who doesn't give a F if you have a job or not...and if you don't that's on YOU and not the predatory system that has no use for you! They don't want to hear that because their only joy in life is hating others and nothing pleases them more than other people's misery.

So the loud sucking sound filling your ears as the holidays creep closer is the sound of the vacuum 'clearing the air' so the family can TRY to have just one meal in PEACE!

While I constantly point to the 'single factor' I will clarify my position by stating bluntly that a peaceful family meal is only possible if ALL of the people around the table have enough love and respect FOR OTHERS in their hearts to keep their hatred to themselves.

BEFORE you ruin your family gathering, make a mental checklist of precisely WHO starts telling anyone who will listen WHAT THEY HATE the moment they enter the room...and dis-invite them NOW! Let's fast forward to after a few cordials and consider who starts emptying their bowels as soon as they have a couple under their belt [cuz it's okay to be a sexist bigot if you're drunk] and dis-invite them too!

This post is 'targeted' to the Ladies because it all starts with YOU! YOU control who sits at your table come the holidays this means you also control the level of civility.

People behave badly because we turn a blind eye [let them get away with it, dismiss as too much to drink or some long ago ordeal that the crank never got over. (to hear THEM tell it anyway...did I mention our species is filled with opportunists?)

This is another thing we need to stop 'enabling'. Give someone an 'out' and they'll hammer that bad boy until we are all convinced they have lost it...but in the meantime they are chuckling to themselves over how stupid everybody else is...and the scary part is, it's true. We'll let somebody shit all over us if they even PRETEND they have an emotional problem.

Until they learn to 'deal' they too are off the guest list. People who want to live in their own little world are perfectly within their rights to do so. There is absolutely NO NEED for the rest of us to crawl in there with them!

At this point most of you are wondering if they raise turkeys that small [because the guest list is now tiny!] so I will suggest something you can do that will salvage SOME of the list and that is cut the power to the idiot box. Nothing fires up the psycho faster than FOX ANYTHING!

Banish your TV and tell your guests you're having an 'old-fashioned' holiday for a change. You'll be absolutely amazed at how much more civil people are if you banish the eye that never blinks. Don't worry, the kids will amuse themselves with their hand-held devices.

Another 'helpful hint' will be enforcing the 'no cell phones at the table' rule. It may force guests to leave the table every twenty seconds but that should tell you something all by itself.

That people now prefer the 'anonymity' of the on-line arena than the 'accountability' of being part of a group in a social situation...

The 'emptiness' doesn't hold them accountable and they can pretend they are anything but who they are. The emptiness doesn't judge and the vacuum keeps their secrets.

So, if you want a successful holiday, it's all in the PLANNING! Eliminate trouble before it's sitting at the table dragging everybody down.

Don't fret that the family Grinch/Scrooge will be alone...they MADE that bed themselves and choose to be that way. Forcing them to behave contrary to their nature does NOBODY any favors!

The forgotten axiom in our now scrambled social landscape is it has never been the 'church' that kept society civil, it was the damn DINNER TABLE!

Now the psycho-paths don't need to cook (or be civil for that matter) since they share their meals with the eye that never blinks. Worse, since they have nobody to talk to their head begins to echo with the poison deposited there by the newscaster.

The feckless don't care who they propagandize and the none too smart are defenseless. Sorting fact from fiction is too much for them to handle considering how much BS they are forced to swallow in their everyday lives.

Those empty seats at the dinner table are causing a serious problem society-wide because while people may drive us crazy, nothing will drive you to the cracker factory faster than the lack of 'human interaction.'

There is NOTHING more dangerous than 'unfiltered opinion' it has caused every single war since the beginning of armed conflict.

The damning vacuum is created by the none too bright retreating into their own little world...but it's lonely in there so they let 'the dumbed down' in to keep them company and suddenly we have a nation of opinionated morons on our hands! Parroting what they heard on Fox News.

[What's more disturbing is other stations are starting to sound like Fox News and that could be due to Fox becoming the 'sole source' for journalism in the corporate provided media market.]

If there is only one story why should there be two people investigating?

We can't afford to allow 'corporate logic' to regulate the news cycle, we have already seen what this leads to.

This post is filled with metaphors and, as always, the single factor doesn't have the mental horsepower to sort it out so my faith is in you who recognize that we are rudderless but don't quite grasp why this is.

Sometimes the answer is biting you on the backside and you can feel it but you don't realize its right there behind you.

Just look at the social changes since the advent of prepared frozen meals. [The bulging waistlines is another issue altogether!]

Food is the 'glue' of society and nothing spells family like 'home cooking' [which is becoming a lost art! Most modern couples refuse to make time to cook so they eat out...(and it's back to bulging waistlines, isn't it?)]

We NEED to bring the FAMILY back to the dinner table if we are to save society...and some of you are so far gone you are already asking 'why?'

If you have to ask, you'll never get it.

Greetings good citizen, every once in a while you get the opportunity to receive feedback from the public [I attended a large gathering of the clan yesterday] and nobody had a single comment...which I find curious. Either I am truly writing these for myself or the entire topic [of the deplorable state of human relations] is so toxic that nobody will even touch it.

Be that as it may I can tell from the sidelong glances that people are keeping their mouths shut over what they read here and it returns us to the statement I made just yesterday about the futility of making common cause with cowards.

More troubling is the eternal silence on the comments section, cat got your tongue?

Somehow I have a hard time believing the old "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all..."

Nope, so once you exhaust the possibilities whatever's left must be the answer, and what conclusion do we draw from the ceaseless silence?

That NOBODY is seeing this.

So on this Armistice Day we can only ponder just how many more wars we will have to endure before the utterly self-absorbed end us all solely to escape prosecution for their crimes?

It's not the individual's unwillingness to change, it's the feckless who resist change. [It took the nobles 4 tries to get the Magna Carta signed into law.]

Which is to point out that so long as the 'I don't give a F' crowd is permitted to live among us we will not enjoy either peace or prosperity.

What these animals fail to appreciate is society is a MEMBERS ONLY club they have to EARN admission to!

We can outlaw cash and wipe out bank accounts but the I.D.G.A.F. crowd will continue to murder with the idea they will be rewarded by those who wish to continue the 'old ways'.

It's a disease we can't cure so we MUST exile those who fail to appreciate the consequences of their actions.

Fear not, there is NO BABY hiding in the bathwater of fecklessness. Zero 'great minds' will be banished unless your idea of 'greatness' starts with single minded brutality and unmitigated selfishness.

Again I doubt any of you appreciate the combining [by the same feckless] of Armistice Day with Veterans Day...one was to commemorate the most horrendous war ever fought [to date] and the others a day set aside to 'honor' those who served in those mindless wars.

The search for LIBERTY [freedom from tyranny] has driven mankind to the furthest, most inhospitable corners of the globe and still the majority of mankind struggles to survive under the 'comply or die' dictates of the feckless.

How many of you think it's time we take our 'clubhouse' back? [It's not theirs, it's OURS and WE get to decide who can be a member!]

Problem is the feckless have greedy friends who will sell them membership...so the 'untrustworthy' have to go as well.

We must rebuild civilization upon a foundation of membership that teaches the value of inclusiveness and forbearance.

If we fail to 'police' ourselves then we get the society we, er, 'deserve'.

Since the 11th hour and the 11th minute of the 11th day literally commemorates the end of 'The War to End all Wars' let us live up to that lofty goal by casting the feckless from our 'clubhouse' and starting fresh with a new, more prosperous agenda!

As a driver I am constantly reminded that it only takes one. Now that our world is awash in self-centered mindless greed we are faced with a choice. Either a civil war that ends in extinction [survival of the fittest] or culling the herd to save what's salvageable.

Greetings good citizen, I belabor the obvious when I call our elected leadership 'meat puppets' and the current Meat Puppet-in-Chief is preforming 'beautifully' from the 'as commanded' point of view.

Trumps followers only vaguely recall yesterday so most of them have forgotten anything he campaigned on. The only thing that matters to his (fictional) base is that they finally backed a 'winner' [talk about Pyrrhic victories, eh?]

What sticks in the craw of the rational among us is how neither candidate was 'qualified' and how both of them had been vetted by Wall Street. In fact it's more than a little disturbing just how beholden both candidates were to the 'power elite'.

Zero irony that the Bushes were also part of Wall Streets stringer of 'lap dogs'.

I'll hazard a guess the only people who REMEMBER that Trump campaigned on a promise to 're-write' the trade deals that had hollowed out the US Economy and moved our manufacturing might to the far east...to reduce costs [a steaming pile of manure] are the people who DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIM!

Again, for the benefit of the mentally challenged I will remind you WHO moved international manufacturing from the West to the East, only partly due to 'market saturation'...and with childhood diseases essentially [if only temporarily] defeated that meant there were more trust funds to fill for kids who now lived long enough to collect them! [The very SAME people responsible for Morning in America and the 'capture' of the political system. Um, I'd add the crashing of the global economy (twice) and the pauperization of the most prosperous society the world has ever seen.]

For this past week El Trumpo is visiting Asia, making nice to our trade partners like his predecessors did before him...and he seems to have decided he wants to live after all because his campaign rhetoric has vanished. He is 'making nice' to the very people he swore he would bitch slap and slam the (trade) doors shut in their faces.

This is NOT what won him the election but bar any egregious incident, the oligarchs will re-appoint him for a second term...because they can and lapdogs are exactly what THEY want, the public be damned!

Worse, there's a 'method to their madness'. The more you, er, 'turn your head' the more you'll be relieved when the next one isn't as bad as the last one.

We were all expecting 'a 180' when Obama replaced the War Criminal but it turns out 'window dressing' is the only thing that constitutional lawyer had. Nobody was prosecuted for crashing the global economy or clawing a quadrillion out of the crisis created by on bets that never should have been permitted in the first place but when the smoke cleared you [some of you] still had jobs and the gig economy/war took up the slack.

How many times do I have to tell you there are no such things as jobs creators. You do what you do because it NEEDS doing [although that is NOT TRUE across the board and many current 'occupations' will be eliminated come the re-ordering of society.

The fact the economy hasn't crashed and burned catastrophically is PROOF that ALL MONEY IS FUNNY!

The only thing it would take to crash the current economy is for the drug market to collapse, then all the money that is spent chasing drugs would be competing for food and all that 'excess cash' would turn the contents of your bank account into instant confetti!

In case you were wondering why we seem to be perpetually losing the 'war on drugs'....you are now educated. [Talk about 'job security', eh?]

So, where are the T-Tards [Tea Party' now that those tax cutting Republicans are finally going to give [the already rich] what they need like a hole in the head.

While families struggle to make ends meet we were told repeatedly while the company was doing well that there was no money for raises [for the people that actually did the work] the people in the cubicle farm got raises but all the people that actually got the product out the door got was to pay more for their health insurance plan.

Nobody 'complained' because the feckless held the other gun to their head the, "you're lucky you (still) have a job" cannon.

Since the Reagan-Patco debacle no union has survived...except the unions that bind public workers together...and bizarrely, the police and firemen both refuse to make common cause with the teachers!

Again because the feckless politicians play the 'money has to come from somewhere' card.

Tell that to Wall Street.

That's 100% fake. Zero value across the board and zero irony that the ENTIRE one percent owes its fortune to the [fake] stock market!

I already told you how stocks continue to rise in the land(s) that makes NOTHING...stock buy back programs that artificially drive the price of OTHERWISE WORTHLESS stocks up!

Now the Senate is proposing a scaled back version of a Tax cut plan for the One Percent that has us all wondering, where is the TEA PARTY NOW?

I'm sticking to my guns, ALL MONEY IS FUNNY [and the proof is we would have gone bankrupt in 2007 when the feckless bankers racked up a QUADRILLION DOLLARS in CDO's and never made good on most of em!...this while conducting one of the longest and expensive wars in history!]

Now the housing market is ridiculously overpriced and the new tax cuts are going to drive POVERTY even deeper...all so 'a few can be rich.'

Ironically, akin to pre-WWII Germany, people still BELIEVE they will get welfare/assistance if they can't make ends meet.

They won't and then the royal fuckaree will begin...and only the cleverest will survive.

Greetings good citizen, just as politicians are reminded that their single most important metric is 'jobs', the bean counters have once again stepped up to the plate to claim responsibility for what is being portrayed as a 'uniquely American Problem'

Shorthand: it's the numbers stupid!

True dat...but doesn't that mean as the population continues to boom the situation is only going to worsen?

Oh, wait a minute, it's the NUMBER OF GUNS that matters! Hitler only had one gun and look at how many people HE was responsible for exterminating.

Mind you, most of the victims of the holocaust were 'unarmed'. The ones that had the ability to defend themselves foolishly relied on the criminal courts...which didn't work the way it had been explained to them, more evidence as to why treachery is ever and ALWAYS a 'capital offense'.

So I ask you, good citizen, is 'disarming' REALLY a solution/option?

Under A Simple Plan you will be able to walk the streets carrying a bazooka if that's what you want to lug around everywhere you go. But first a word of caution: you won't need it and chances are you'll hit the ground dead before you get the first shell in position. Just saying. [We are a society of LOVERS, not 'competitors!'. There will be zero reason to shoot ANYONE...although I'd be quick to add you won't find a bigger collection of primadonnas anywhere else in nature and that could cause some fireworks if the mature don't intervene.

Why do Americans have a higher incidence of whackos going off on the unsuspecting public? I'd like return your attention to a topic I raised not too long ago about our 'privatized' healthcare system that places profits for share owners ahead of the public's well-being.

But let's stick with our 'numbers' explanation: other nations have significantly larger populations. Is their lower incident rate due solely because fewer of them have access to guns or is their pubic healthcare system superior to the unethical system that is more focused on profits than positive outcomes?

There are a lot of reasons to dump feckless capitalism, slavery being chief among them but it is also the driving force behind the inequity and poor outcomes we suffer because under the flag draped banner of Capitalism, only 'a few' can prosper...the rest of us have to settle for basking in the 'reflected glory' of their uniqueness.

Now, honestly good citizen...how many of you wish the feckless few were SOMEBODY ELSE'S PROBLEM?
