The question remains...is it enough to convince you that Hillary, [Wall Street's Darling] is the right individual to lead our nation through the increasingly dangerous future?
Considering the 'results' it has produced, abandoning these quadrennial 'popularity contests' is looking like a better idea all the time!
Never has it appeared more 'fixed' than today's two highly unlikely choices. [Nevermind the media's refusal to let other voices be heard! Where did this if your not drawing 15% in the polls, you can't speak come from?]
The public feels more like 'cattle in a chute' than ever and the fact we're still doing this the 'old-fashioned way' isn't due to 'nostalgia' at all, it's due to 'control issues'.
Which is to 'opine' that those who would rule see the problems created by a mass/social media immersed society. This technological advance will force them to alter how we choose leaders and will probably lead to the removal of that choice.
Voting maybe a pain but we've seen what letting 'our betters' operate 'unleashed' has produced [hint: you're SOAKING in it! Wake up and smell the financial ruin!]
So how will they 'put the genie back in the bottle'? Probably, initially at least, declare martial law and 'install' the next couple of meat puppets to do their bidding.
Let us not miss this 'teaching moment'...CHOICE IS NOT A 'PRIVILEDGE', IT'S A [HARD WON] RIGHT!

I'm willing to bet a good majority of you [old enough to have voted back then] had your eyes opened when, after a disasterous first term, Reagan was 'miraculously' re-elected, a feat topped only by Bush the lesser!
How much PROOF do you need that your vote IS MEANINGLESS?
Thus does A Simple Plan eliminate electoral politics and makes it so you vote DIRECTLY on the Laws you're required to live under!
Isn't that how it SHOULD BE?
What's that? You're not an 'expert' in crafting laws? YOU don't need to be! You know right from wrong [probably better than the current weasels who do claim to be 'experts'] and that's all it takes!
Has it occurred to anyone else that our 'capitalist dominated' world has become a cesspit of poverty, disease, war and pestilance?

Once again we arrive at 'rinse & repeat' time where I explain there is but one way to put an end to the cycle and that is to stop putting up with it.
We CAN do better and we CAN put the 'self-interested' in their place...a place they can call their own and live with the like-minded, unencumbered by those of us who expect to be treated 'fairly'. [Nothing like a healthy dose of their own medicine to make them see the 'error of their ways!']
IF you keep 'putting up with it' you will continue to be denied your right to choose and the 'farce' will remain unchanged.
